The Big Island of Hawaii is the largest island in the Hawaiian archipelago—almost as large as all the other islands combined—and bursting with life. Within 4,000 square miles of land, you’ll experience dense tropical rainforests, black-sand beaches, snow-capped peaks, remnants of ancient Hawaiian settlements, and the incredible Kilauea volcano.

Maui is renowned for its unimaginable beauty. Alpine-like forests cover the upcountry slopes of Mt. Haleakala, the world’s largest dormant volcano. The famed “Road to Hana” hugs the coast, white sandy beaches line the shores, and magnificent sea cliffs hover over the blue Pacific. An aerial tour of Maui will quickly reveal why it’s continually been voted “The World’s Best Island.”

Neils was an excellent guide!!!
We had a great experience, very friendly and knolagable pilot, amazing views. Great service overall. Overview: parking at the same place, near their office, no need to park somewhere else. Parking cost about, enter the office, we have paid for parking in the office about $8 for two hours. In the office they will check your reservation, will weight you, you will get safety instructions, meanwhile in the office you can use restrooms, water, coffee. Next you will follow the pilot to the helicopter. And the best nature views in the world from the front seats are yours.
It was our last day and just an unforgettable experience, very well done Chris Powell!
Fantastic time! Dale was awesome and it was an unforgettable experience! You must do the waterfall landing.
Kaj, our pilot, was a wealth of information not only about the islands topography, but the history and present day sociological and economic factors. We learned so much by asking good questions! The scenery was incredible and we saw all of the variety of the big island — from volcanoes to ranches to seaside to lush, green valleys and hills — and dozens of waterfalls! Before the ride we got thorough safety instructions and lots of communication from the team. Tips: DO dress in dark colors from head to toe for the best pictures. I wore shorts and my white legs reflected in the glass (haha). DO bring cash for a generous tip. DO bring a plastic water bottle for each person. The temp in the copter is around 74 — and you’ll be glad you have a drink! DO expect some waiting as there is a careful boarding process for everyone’s safety. This is well worth the money.
