Absolutely phenomenal!! Our pilot Markus was friendly and professional, and he was very knowledgeable about the island. He pointed out many structures, landmarks, and natural sites. The ground crew was friendly, helpful, and put us all at ease for our first ever helicopter ride. The communication was frequent and helpful, and this was an incredible experience that we will never forget. We couldn't recommend this experience or Blue Hawaiian highly enough! Thank you!

We had a great experience with Blue Hawaiian Helicopters! The booking process was easy and they helped answer all of our questions with ease. The check in experience was easy and they had lockers to store any last minute items for free. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. They helped us get our gear on and get all buckled into the Helicopter. The pilot also came and introduced himself to us before we got on. They took a photo of our group outside of the plane on our cell phones. On the helicopter we all got microphones to talk to the all who were onboard which was fun. The Pilot talked through some of the history of the areas we flew past and gave lots of fun facts too. Overall the whole flight was incredibly smooth and cool. A few notes: - They told us to wear all black (which we did), but I wore shorts and have tattoos down my leg and I could see the reflection of my leg/tattoos in some of the photos I wanted to take. I would recommend black pants if you're fair skinned or have tattoos. - My Dad went with us too and he is a bit on the taller side. Due to his weight (which is average) he was put in the middle back seat, but he said his headset was rubbing against the top of the helicopter and he had to sit slouched the whole time which was a bit uncomfortable. May want to keep that in mind if you're tall when checking in to let them know. While very expensive this was a once in a lifetime experience that I would recommend to those who could afford it or save a little extra for your trip! Some of the views are things you would never see from the ground.

Great viewing of the road to Hana and the rainforest from Blue Hawaiian Helicopters. Herb was our pilot and he was amazing, very informative and gave great views by helicopter no matter where you were seated. I highly recommend this experience.

Went up with Robby yesterday 7/14 on Kaua’i Wife and I had a blast, it was truly a once in a lifetime experience for us. Beautiful views from above and all the staff were phenomenal. Highly recommend flying with Blue Hawaiian

My family had the best time exploring the island’s waterfalls! The staff was amazing and the pilot was super engaging and knowledgeable! Everyone we interacted with was super friendly and we had a trip of a lifetime!

I happen to be a pilot flying single engine fixed wing aircraft. I’ve never flown in a helicopter before. Our pilot was Matt. He took us up close and personal to sights we would never see from my airplane. His control of the aircraft was masterful…my wife was a little concerned about flying in a helicopter, Matt (doesn’t know this) made her very comfortable (very smooth on the controls). I watched Matt do a very thorough pre-flight on the aircraft. These people took very good care of us. It was our 53rd wedding anniversary…what a treat. Can I go again?

It was our 1st time in a helicopter for my wife and myself. Steve is a great pilot, and made everyone onboard feel at ease. He was communicating with us through a headset the entire time. He was extremely knowledgeable about the location, and shared many things with us. The views from the helicopter in places you can’t get to by a car or boat were breathtaking. I’d highly recommend this tour, company, and more specifically Steve, the pilot. My pictures don’t do it justice as I was in the middle seat not next to the window.

This was an amazing tour yesterday! Beautiful to see the Big Island from a different perspective and to see areas we wouldn’t have been able to see otherwise. The entire staff was incredible. Tour was informative. We would definitely do this again.
