The Big Island of Hawaii is the largest island in the Hawaiian archipelago—almost as large as all the other islands combined—and bursting with life. Within 4,000 square miles of land, you’ll experience dense tropical rainforests, black-sand beaches, snow-capped peaks, remnants of ancient Hawaiian settlements, and the incredible Kilauea volcano.

Maui is renowned for its unimaginable beauty. Alpine-like forests cover the upcountry slopes of Mt. Haleakala, the world’s largest dormant volcano. The famed “Road to Hana” hugs the coast, white sandy beaches line the shores, and magnificent sea cliffs hover over the blue Pacific. An aerial tour of Maui will quickly reveal why it’s continually been voted “The World’s Best Island.”

My favorite part was flying close to the Valley of Kings.
We were very upset and dissapointed after waiting 2 hours and spending $100 on transport getting there, we were told that our ride is cancelled. It happens. We get it. However Blue Hawaii did not put us on next flight ( and cancel people who didnt even get there yet ). Yes, they offered for another day but that was not an option for us. So in summary, we spend two hours and $100 on transport without accomodation by the operator. They really should have bumped people from future rides on the same day who didnt spent $ or time like we did. It was very inconsiderate.
It was my first time riding a helicopter. I never expected it to be so amazing. The scenery was spectacular, the pilot's explanations were excellent, and I thoroughly enjoyed the wonderfulness of helicopter sightseeing.
Blue Hawaiian Helicopters is great. The staff is amazing. Everyone is very professional and friendly. They know what they are doing treat everyone very well. Our pilot handled the aircraft extremely well. The flight was smooth and very comfortable. The helicopters are clean and very well maintained. The trip was well worth the price.
Shane Beeder was the BEST pilot and tour guide. He was super knowledgeable about the history of the island and the details of the landscape. Also, we felt so safe the entire time. We flew Nov. 25th at 8am. Tip: pay the extra for the landing at the waterfall…so worth it!! Also, loved the music chosen for our flight. Highly, highly recommend flying with Blue Hawaiian Helicopters!
Excellent experience, professional, courteous, friendly and knowledgeable pilot and crew. The kids had a blast
