I recently took a tour with Blue Hawaiian Helicopters, and I can honestly say it was one of the most exciting experiences of my life! From the moment I arrived, the ground crew was incredibly kind and welcoming, setting a positive tone for the adventure ahead. The safety briefing was thorough and informative, making me feel both prepared and secure for the flight. Our pilot, James Hardy, was exceptional. Shortly after takeoff, he recognized that the weather was changing and that our original route was no longer safe. Instead of continuing on, he wisely decided to return to base and discuss our options. I truly appreciated his respect for our safety, which made me feel incredibly secure throughout the whole journey. While we had to change our plans and skip the volcano, we had the opportunity to explore the breathtaking west and north sides of the island, where we encountered numerous stunning waterfalls. James's extensive knowledge about the area and his exceptional navigation skills enhanced our experience profoundly. One of the highlights was our landing at a waterfall—an unforgettable moment that I will cherish forever. It felt like stepping into a dream, surrounded by the beauty of nature. I cannot recommend Blue Hawaiian Helicopters enough! If you're considering a helicopter tour in Hawaii, look no further.
