Spectacular Blue Hawaiian Helicopter tour over Kilauea, the lava fields, the coast and more! Pilot Ryan was great! Very informative, funny (even the Dad jokes!) and helpful with suggestions for additional stops for our visit. Be certain to compliment him on being humble and his good looks too!!!

This is a must do! Yes, it's expensive, but it's at the top of the list of everyone in the family. Core memory! Everyone we encountered at Blue Hawaiian were amazing and professional. They worked with us during the Kona low storm and still got us in to do a tour that was safe with the conditions.

We had a Great Experience taking our 1st Helicopter Ride with Blue Hawaiian! Duke was our Pilot and he did a Great Job explaining the History of Kauai as we flew over different locations on the Island. He also had concern for all occupants as far as how they were feeling. We felt fine but 1 person had a touch of motion sickness. After the flight he also took the time to chat with us. Nice Touch! The Helicopter was super clean, huge windows for viewing and comfortable seating. Bucket List Adventure glad we did the tour and very happy with Blue Hawaiian. Highly Recommend!

Stunning experience, worth every cent

Blue Hawaiian Helicopters was great to work with this past week in spite of all the bad weather in Hawaii. Our preferred tour wasn't possible due to extreme weather on the island (see Kona Storm 2026). They were able to re-schedule us for a later date and provided a timely refund for the difference in cost between our original booking and the tour we ultimately were able to take. The wait was definitely worth it! In the end, we got a beautiful morning tour of the Kohala waterfalls and a landing at the base of one of the falls on the coast. With all the rain, the waterfalls were gushing and it was spectacular! We also managed to spot a young humpback whale that was breaching and playing just off the cost. Our pilot's musical playlist throughout the tour was excellent as well! I highly recommend the Kohala Falls tour and landing!

This trip is the highlight of our vacation!

We didn't actually get to fly due to Kilauea episode 43, however I had to make a few reservation changes over the phone and the customer service was great. When our flight was cancelled, our desk agent recommended we drive up to Volcanoes NP to see the eruption and boy did we see it - I hope I get to fly with them on a return trip!

I took a domestic flight from Oahu to the Big Island. I went to the Blue Hawaiian Helicopter boarding point, received a brief screening and safety briefing, and waited. I boarded the helicopter at my scheduled time, first toured the volcanic area, then headed back along the coast to the first boarding point. I was able to leisurely enjoy the breathtaking views, which can only be seen from the air, for an hour.

Our trip was awesome! Our guide was not only an extremely good pilot, but she gave us an informative and interesting tour. The sites were incredible. It’s truly an extraordinary way to see the islands!

What an amazing experience! I definitely recommend the waterfall landing. It was such a beautiful experience from start to finish, but the waterfall landing took my breath away. Kaj was an amazing tour guide and pilot, the whole staff was friendly and kind.

Although the weather did not allow us to do the flight path we originally planned, Marco still took us on a great flight and was able to show us several waterfalls across the island! It was a great flight! Thank you to all the team and Marco!
