My husband and I are celebrating our anniversary here on the Big Island and decided to treat ourselves to a Blue Hawaiian helicopter tour. BEST decision and it did not disappoint. Our pilot Kai was super informative and interactive with all passengers by name during our tour. This was an amazing addition to our vacation and a check off the ole bucket list.

Flight was great as was the pilot. Unfortunately I was assigned a middle seat in the back on the right of the pilot. Most of the views were from the left (pilot side). I had to lean over 2 people to see out the left. One of the persons I had to lean over was busy throwing up. When the sites were visible from the right none of my photos turned out. The person in the front by the window had a T-shirt with white letters that reflected on the window and is present in all my photos. Blue Hawaiian offers their photos for sale, but for an additional +$100. Since seat location is assigned by Blue Hawaiian, the only way to prevent this is to pay the upgrade charge to sit up front.

Our experience with Blue Hawaiian Helicopters was absolutely unforgettable! From start to finish, everything was first-class, but what truly made it extraordinary was our pilot, Derek. He went above and beyond, taking the time to engage with our 9-year-old son, Luke, in a way that was not only incredibly thoughtful but downright hilarious. Derek’s passion for flying and love for what he does came through in every moment, making the tour feel completely unique and personal. He made Luke feel like the co-pilot for the day, explaining everything with a perfect mix of education and humor that kept everyone on our flight smiling the entire time. You could tell Derek genuinely enjoys creating special memories for his guests, and we feel so lucky to have had him as our pilot. We can't recommend Blue Hawaiian Helicopters enough, it was easily one of the highlights of our Maui trip.

Had a blast with Dale! The waterfall trip was amazing, so much so that I had to repeatedly remind myself it was real. Real, untouched land that should be preserved at all costs. I would recommend Blue Hawaiian to everyone - worth the money!

We had the best experience ever. Our pilot Christopher was incredible. His knowledge of the island amazed us. The views were unbelievable and we explored the island in style in only one hour! We highly recommend this experience to all visiting Honolulu.

Great experience.

This is a first class operation. If you’re going to book a helicopter tour, this is the island and this is the company that you want to go choose. The pilot was an expert and gave great commentary throughout. We loved listening to wonderful music as we flew over the coast and Waimea Canyon. Don’t hesitate to spend big bucks on this fantastic tour. You won’t regret it.

This was an amazing experience! The views are unmatched. This tour was the perfect honeymoon activity, and a once in a lifetime experience that we will cherish.

Was very anxious and nervous for this excursion but they made me feel safe and comfortable from the start. Loved seeing the island with the knowledge of the driver and the fun soundtrack.
