This trip is the highlight of our vacation!

We didn't actually get to fly due to Kilauea episode 43, however I had to make a few reservation changes over the phone and the customer service was great. When our flight was cancelled, our desk agent recommended we drive up to Volcanoes NP to see the eruption and boy did we see it - I hope I get to fly with them on a return trip!

I took a domestic flight from Oahu to the Big Island. I went to the Blue Hawaiian Helicopter boarding point, received a brief screening and safety briefing, and waited. I boarded the helicopter at my scheduled time, first toured the volcanic area, then headed back along the coast to the first boarding point. I was able to leisurely enjoy the breathtaking views, which can only be seen from the air, for an hour.

Our trip was awesome! Our guide was not only an extremely good pilot, but she gave us an informative and interesting tour. The sites were incredible. It’s truly an extraordinary way to see the islands!

What an amazing experience! I definitely recommend the waterfall landing. It was such a beautiful experience from start to finish, but the waterfall landing took my breath away. Kaj was an amazing tour guide and pilot, the whole staff was friendly and kind.

Although the weather did not allow us to do the flight path we originally planned, Marco still took us on a great flight and was able to show us several waterfalls across the island! It was a great flight! Thank you to all the team and Marco!

Absolutely Recommend! It is WORTH the extra cost to be enclosed! Our friends went with an open door and, were cold even though they wore winter coats, etc. The pilot was skilled, & gave great information as we went over the island, the views were excellent, even with some rainy weather. The safety briefing was great, the cleanliness of the helicopter - all this gave us a great feeling prior to the flight & during as well!

Blue Hawaiian helo, pilot Kaj Loken-Kim, and the Kohala Coast Adventure was excellent! Kids and parents loved it. Highly recommend to see spectacular Hawaii!

While seeing the beauty of Hawaii from above is spectacular in many ways, the excursion would've had a greater wow factor if we had actually flown over the sites as opposed to alongside of. The write-up indicates a flyover Diamond Head - not only did that not happen, but we also didn't flyover the other craters or the waterfall. Tha waterfall view was at such a distance that it was hard to appreciate the impact. I had flown in a helicopter before, so that aspect of a wow factor had come to pass. Our pilot was informative, and I appreciated being in a doors-on flight as we could hear the narration. Pricey for views that could have been seen from the airlines that we flew in on.

I highly recommend Blue Hawaiian Helicopters.

Awesome!

My partner and I did the waterfall helicopter ride and it was absolutely amazing. The staff were super friendly and our pilot Shane shared very cool historical significance of everything we saw during our flight. Would highly recommend this company!
