Our family had a fantastic areal tour. We chose the Discover Hilo tour and it was just the right amount of time for young kids. Very kind and professional staff.

An absolute MUST SEE!! Highly recommend this tour for your first day on the island if you're vacationing! It takes you around the entire island and makes navigation so much easier! The views are incredible & only possible from the sky at some of the most beautiful places on the island. Our safety instructor was so helpful and hilarious with a true joy for life, she was so fun! The pilot, Duke, was super knowledgeable, friendly and wonderful at maneuvering through the canyons. It was an excellent adventure!

We had such an amazing time. Being able to take off out of Princeville was a major advantage staying in Hanalei Bay. The helicopters were very nice and comfortable we felt very safe the entire process. The staff was so friendly and helpful. From the initial call to registration at the airport. The lady was so nice. Flying with our 3 kiddos, my wife was obviously a tad nervous. They arranged for her to even talk to the pilot ahead of time to ask all her questions. The pilot was great as well and graciously handled all my kids questions while in the air. He was a tour guide as well as a stand out pilot. What a way to see the island. And you still have your whole day which is great. The boat looked fun but 5 hours was a little long for us for that so this was def the way to go. To top it all off we actually flew over a rainbow while the song played:)

You can't see the magma flowing, but you can see the smoke. I think it's worth riding at least once. You can't fully enjoy it if you don't speak English. It was fun.

This was an awesome experience. Sarah, our pilot, was excellent, keeping us entertained with information and when one of our family felt less than ok, she was very attentive and tried to make her more comfortable. The process from check in to landing was perfect and I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

Dale was fantastic! Knowledgeable and funny. The tour was so exciting and beautiful!! There really is no better way to see the volcanos and waterfalls.

Our first tour got cancelled due to the weather but they got us on the next tour the next day. Thank you so much Sarah, not only were you amazing checking in with all of us especially our nervous daughter. But the views were absolutely beautiful! And going back round to see our hotel the rainbow tower and back over diamond head which we hiked that morning was perfect. Thank you so much Blue Hawaiian for our experience I would highly recommend you! The Gunn’s!x
