It was my first time in a helicopter and it was an amazing experience!

It was the most amazing flight!!

We had the absolute pleasure of flying with Chewy as our pilot for Blue Hawaiian Helicopter Tours, and it was nothing short of incredible! From the moment we lifted off, Chewy’s calm and friendly presence put everyone at ease. You can tell he truly loves what he does—and it shows. He was not only fun and engaging, but also deeply knowledgeable about the islands, the volcanic landscape, and Hawaiian history. What stood out the most was his genuine respect for Hawaiian culture—he shared stories and insights with such care and authenticity, which made the experience feel meaningful, not just scenic. Chewy made us feel completely safe while still keeping the mood light and adventurous. We laughed, we learned, and we walked away with memories we’ll never forget. If you’re lucky enough to fly with Chewy, you’re in excellent hands!

An amazing adventure! So glad we decided to do this. Was not on our initial itinerary, but while in Oahu decided to do this and probably one of the best parts of the vacation! Marcus was phenomenal and gave us a great flight with lots of interesting information! Would do this again in a heartbeat!! Great to see the entire island from the skies!!

We did the Blue Hawaiian helicopter tour as part of my 40th birthday trip to Kauai, and it was unforgettable! My husband and I were both nervous (kids, aged 10 and 2.5, were not), but once we lifted off, awe quickly replaced fear. There’s simply no other way to grasp the scale and beauty of Kauai’s cliffs, canyons, and waterfalls. Seeing the Nā Pali Coast from the air was stunning. Our pilot, Robert Strong, was professional, informative, and calm, something we appreciated as nervous flyers. The ride felt smooth and safe the entire time! It truly gave us a deeper appreciation for the island we had been exploring on the ground all week. If you’re on the fence, especially if you're celebrating something special, this experience is 100% worth it. The top family memory from our trip!
