We've had a real fun flight today - no clouds and wonderful sights! Emery made the tour intersting with facts about West Maui and Molokai and we enjoyed it immensely. Dissapointed at quality and clarity of film. Did not take many pictures as there was too much reflection, and figured that we could rely on the DVD. The clarity and quality is terrible so we will not buy this.
Emory was superb. His voice and background music were perfect for the tour. It really was great. However, given the opportunity there is one thing I'd like to get off my chest. Everyone else in our party loved every aspect. The only critique comes from me as an economist, and it applies to all of the tours we have taken: the guides should lay off the green energy tout. Some of us believe such energy to be an enormous waste of human resources. I did a quick mental calc of the return on investment for the windmills and, if I heard correctly, it's a munificent 2.5% if that.

The helicopter ride over Kauai was safe, stable and exciting. The scenery was spectacular. The sealed, climate controlled cabin and large windows provided passengers with maximum comfort and viewing pleasure. The price was competitive and quite reasonable. I highly recommend the Blue Hawaiian outfitter and specifically their Eco-star helicopter.
