We did the volcano tour which included a short time over waterfalls at the end. As a family of 5 we had the whole helicopter to ourselves. Our pilot was very informative and was insistent to get us as close as he could to the caldera with its small amount of lava. Very expensive but spectacular views and a once in a lifetime opportunity. Flight was pretty smooth even for our scaredy-cat family member. Highly recommended.

I am a very uncomfortable flyer. I went with my husband and daughter to get pictures of them taking off and I ended up going up with them. The staff at the front desk was very reassuring and made me feel at ease. My daughter sat next to the pilot and I had a wonderful seat next to the window. All the seats are great though and it was a small group so the ride was very comfortable. I was not scared at all~seriously I am a white knuckle flyer and felt zero fear. We found whales in the ocean and it was a great way to see their incredible size. I could have spent the whole time doing that and of been happy. It was really neat going through the mountains and being so close to the waterfalls. Pearl Harbor was special to see and Gilligan's Island was a nice memory of being young again. I cannot wait to post my pictures when I get back home. Thanks again for such a nice time, and for anyone who might be scared of flying this for some reason did not seem scary at all.

By far, the highlight of our vacation! Brad was amazing, knowledgeable and made this an experience we will never forget!!! Not only do I highly recommend, but if there is only one excursion while on Pride of America, this is the ONE!

Everything about Blue Hawaiian Helicopters was the best! First, the building! It's new, modern, air conditioned, with discrete weigh-ins, bathrooms, lockers, souvenir shop and a nice seating area for your pre-flight briefing. The air conditioned helicopters (6 of them, I believe) are newer with very experienced pilots. They make a personalized video of your specific flight, complete with audio (captures you, your pilots description, your questions, etc.) They are not the cheapest helicopter ride, by drive out to the airport and look at their facilities compared to their competitors and you'll see what I mean.

outstanding our pilot was great and very informative this was by far the best way to see the island we thought we were part of the mountains and waterfalls all the colors could not be explained....they were breath taking a picture would not do justice to all this beauty we would highly recommend this as a part of any Hawaii vacation ALOHA

Of all the tours I took on the Big Island, this one just totally blew me away. Our pilot, Shane, was great. He was very knowledgeable about the island's history, the landscape, and the volcanic activity. He also took the time to make sure that everyone got to see the sights out of the cockpit windows, from the spots of lava at the Kilauea eruption site to the various valley's and waterfalls. I also did the optional waterfall landing which was amazing! Definitely worth saving up for and doing again one day.

Aloha!!! This was quite simply one of the best experiences I have ever done!!! We did it close to the end of our holiday and it was a great way to see the trip out :) Its a really gentle flight with so much to see... Our pilot (Loren) was awesome, great sense of humor, really relaxed and along with all the other staff this couldn't have been easier... A great experience, highly recommended... Very safety conscious, only way to properly see lava. It's a long drive from Kona but worth it and we were cancelled the first booking and had to return. Kids loved it, worth the money.

This tour left me speechless. Our pilot, Mark, was excellent. Our group all agreed that it was our favorite shore excursion. Worth every penny!

This was a dream come true. For 30 years we had dreamed of taking a trip to hawaii. We had an amazing ride in the front seat as Marty flew us over all the beautiful places in Kauai. It was breath taking. He gave us a lot of information as we traveled over magnificent water falls and beautiful waimea canyon. Napoli coast line is one of the most beautiful spots. If you want to see Kauai, I would highly recommend taking a flight with blue hawaii helicopters. It was great!

One word - AWESOME!! I was really nervous before we took off, but it was like we were gliding in the air. Chris was a great pilot and so informative. I would recommend Blue Hawaii to anyone that comes to Kauai!! I will never forget this experience!

We took the Blue Hawaiian Helicopter Tour on Kauai and was not disappointed. This was our first time in a helicopter and we were extremely excited. Everything was perfect. The team who prepped us were very friendly and thorough. The pilot was knowledgeable of the area and made you feel extremely safe. Of course, the awe inspiring beauty of the Island simply overwhelms you. The soundtrack was perfect as we flew over breathtaking scenery. After landing, the staff gladly took pictures of us in front of the helicopter. When I look back on our 30th anniversary trip to the Islands, this tour will stand out as the best experience. For anyone considering this....do it! Also..we were in the back seat and still had perfect views.

The flight was lovely - but the pilot Brandon was a jerk. He has some bone to pick with women. He told a honeymoon couple on our flight that the groom should be prepared for anything to happen. Just as you are sure everything is OK with your woman, she will turn on you! He also refused to shake my hand (I am a woman) claiming that he didn't like touching people. But purposely reached out to shake hands with the guys on the trip. Only fly with him if you are a dude!
