Epic! That is what comes to mind when I think of our Blue Hawaiian Tour. My husband and I loved every minute of our flight. Barrett, our pilot was very informative and for someone who is afraid of heights he put any concerns at ease. We were able to see parts of Kauai that no one can see unless taking this tour. Computers generate the seating arrangements based on weight and luckily we were able to sit right up front, but even being in the back everyone gets an awesome view and tour. Blue Hawaiian staff was so accommodating with rescheduling our flight due to Hurricane Ana that blew on by and everyone was extremely friendly from the phones, checking in/out and the pilot. Would definitely recommend this tour for anyone (even all the chickens out there like myself).

My wife and I took the 2 hour tour that goes along the coast and over Kilauea. The waterfalls and the north coast of the big island are just gorgeous. The volcanic stuff is terrific and frankly lava flows from the air are probably the most likely way anybody can view them. However, the north coast views top them....just beautiful. Greg was our pilot and he was a delight. His patience with a 7 year old (another family) was wonderful to behold. He tried very hard to include everybody in the experience and made sure everybody got a good view regardless of where there were seated in the helicopter. We were in the A Star, which was fine. The waiting area was comfortable, with cold water and soft cushioned benches. We were greeted on our arrival back with cold towels to freshen up. We didn't purchase the DVD of our trip as I had already taken a lot of video, but we previewed a bit and it showcases the passengers inside the helicopter, so that would be a good keepsake for many.

We completely enjoyed our helicopter tour over Oahu. We could see everything easily and our pilot was very friendly and engaging. The ride was easy and comfortable. We saw so many cool sights in a short time. Highly recommended.

Our pilot was Marty and he made our trip!! The views were amazing! If you don't do anything else while you are in Kauai, you should not miss this! They run a top notch operation. Very safe! I am scared to death of heights and never was I uncomfortable. THANK YOU MARTY for sharing you knowledge about this beautiful island with us. I highly recommend this tour and will spread the word! :)

We debated about whether to take the ride over the volcanoes area on the Big Island or see the Kohala Coast. We picked the latter and were not disappointed. Beautiful area which can only be seen by air. There had been rain during this time, so the waterfalls were flowing well. We saw seven valleys and were amazed at the height of some of these waterfalls (1500 ft to 2400 ft.). Or pilot was Toshi and he was friendly, informative and had a good sense of humor. Because the clouds had gotten thicken over the hills, he had to take us via a more safe route around the coast. this added about 10 minutes to our ride, and none of us were complaining. Yes, helicopter rides are expensive, but we saw some beautiful valleys that can only be seen this way. we did by the video of our trip afterwards and have just watched it. Kind of fun, and gives additional perspective to our photos. Not the greatest video in the, but good as a souvenir of this one adventure.

I would definitely do this again! We sat in the back on the left and saw lots of great views. Our pilot Loren was so funny and we really enjoyed his tour. :)

Besides the beautiful landscape we enjoyed very much the clear voice of our pilot Barry, easy to understand even for us as non-native speakers! Thanks Barry! Aloha

Kauai has so many beautiful sites it would take weeks to see them all as some areas are only accessible after a multi-day hike. And you still could not see everything since so many stunning sites are on private land. That is why taking a Blue Hawaii helicopter tours is a must ‘do’ while on this island! This was my first helicopter tour so I was glad it started with a safety discussion and proper weight balancing. Take off began to offer incredible views or the ocean and mountains nearby. The helicopter held 6 and is set up so you can talk to the pilot and ask questions although many details were provided along the way. The flight through the Waimea Canyon offered great views of the valley. I loved soaring over the Napali Coast and seeing the dramatic carved mountains that plunged into the bright blue sea. We were lucky to see whales migrating in the waters below as well. The stunning, waterfall filled valley featured in Jurassic Park was another highlight. It was too bad that landing and exploring this beautiful valley was not an option! As we had good weather, a drop into the old volcano crater gave us another view into an area that would be impossible to access on foot for a leisurely traveler. The whole flight was accompanied by light music which highlighted the engaging views although I think I would have preferred more Hawaiian themed music. The photos and video offered as extra’s were great as there were so many stunning views it was hard to capture it all yourself.

The staff are very courteous, professional and answer all your questions. Safety briefing is easy to understand and the staff care that you enjoy your time with them. Our pilot - Mark - was very informative and even though the flight was only for 1 hour, he has given us memories we will never forget. To be able to fly so low and close into the lush valleys and waterfalls of Kauai was just amazing. Truly spectacular to see Kauai from the air and you will see things you can never see from the ground. The ride was an absolute highlight of our trip. We have used Blue Hawaiian before on a ride in Maui and would definately recommend this company. No it's not cheap but it's a bucket list tick off that must be done. The company is located at Lihue airport and they are easy to find. They have free lockers to store your belongings, free coffee and tea and their bathroom facilities are very clean. This company is well worth trying out.

Amazing terrain with a very skilled pilot. I was surprised he was able to take us into tight canyons quite close to waterfalls. Scary and amazing!

My husband and I visited Kauai for part of our honeymoon and decided to take the helicopter tour. We have been to the other Hawaiian islands and never did this before. It was an incredible experience. We visited the island during rainy season and of course it rained the morning we went, so I was worried we would not be able to see anything. As soon as we took off from the heliport to the coast, the views were beautiful and it was actually sunny. We saw everything that would be difficult to see on our own like the Jurassic Park falls. I would highly recommend this excursion. Now I want to take a helicopter tour of the other islands.

We chose the Big Island Spectacular tour, and it truly was spectacular. My husband and I felt that it was worth every penny it cost us to take this tour. There is no way you would be able to see Kilauea or the waterfalls they way we did without taking this tour. Our pilot, Greg, was very personable and informative. He also made sure that everyone in the helicopter had a chance to see everything. My husband and I (this was our honeymoon!) stayed 5 nights in Oahu and 5 nights on The Big Island and had a schedule jam packed with activities. Out of everything we did, this was hands down our absolute favorite. We would definitely recommend Blue Hawaiian Helicopters to anyone. It was an incredible experience!

My husband and I did the big island spectacular tour with the waterfall landing. It was absolutely incredible! We were able to see about 3/4 of the big island by air which included actually being able to see flowing lava, more waterfalls than you can count and unbelievably beautiful land and seascapes! I can't say enough wonderful things about this tour and the company was fantastic! The waterfall landing was definitely worth the extra expense! I cannot recommend this tour enough!
