I have been on 3 helicopter tours so far(San Diego, San Juan Puerto Rico and now Oahu Hawaii). Julie was pilot very friendly and was nice. I got to sit in the front seat next to her hopefully I didnt get in the way trying to take pictures.. **They do mention that it's great ideas to wear dark clothing for a reason , light colored will cause reflection in the pics. Well I can control what I wear unfortunatly you can't control what others wear. 4 other people in the helicopter besides me whom I didn't know. I was sitting in the front in the middle and the guy next to me had light colored pants(khakis). and I would say about 1/4 of the pics I show a reflection of his pants in the pics...There is assigned seating I wish I had been on the outside to get better pics. I would do it again with this company. I did get some great pictures just wish more had turned out. I highly suggest doing this if you have neveer done a helicopter tour before. On Aug 19th we had the opportunity to fly on Blue Hawaiian again. The 2 hour Big Island Spectacular with Noah our pilot was amazing! We got up close to lava flows and Kilauea vent. Saw breathtaking waterfalls and the coast line that you can't see except from the air. Expensive, yes... but a once in a lifetime experience!

Spend the money and take the all inclusive experience with a waterfall landing. Flying over red hot lava and landing the helicopter in the spray of a waterfall on the same trip is something I can't imagine I could find anywhere else. The scenery is unbelievable and the pilots are awesome! Jason and Greg (we had two trips because of weather issues) were knowledgeable, excellent pilots, took everyone's comfort level into account, and were entertaining without being cheesy. If you want to see most of the island, this is the only way to do it.

We've seen just about all there is to see on Oahu but our Pilot (Julie) showed us the island like it was supposed to be seen. Really Excellent tour...even in the rain. Very beautiful scenery and very knowlegable pilot. Waterfalls are gorgeous!! She flew us in on the route the Japanese flew when they attacked Pearl. It was awe inspiring. Not to be missed.

Started our flight on a sunny morning, had a extremely good pilot with a huge experience in flying and knew so much about the island. The flight was breathtaking, we saw all these areas that can't be explored by car, foot or boat!! Absolutely worth the money.

You will not regret this adventure. The views are spectacular and the staff are experienced, informative and very professional. The helicopters are top notch providing a smooth ride. A video is available for a small fee so that you can relive the experience, complete with music and the conversations that took place during your flight. This is a must-do event for anyone wanting to see the real Kauai.

I cannot express how amazing this helicopter tour was. Brad our pilot and guide was so knowlegable and courteous in all ways of making this a tour I'll never forget!

Blue Hawaiian's ECO Adventure tour was fantastic. On a nearly one-hour helicopter trip, we got to see pretty much all of the island of Kauai, including the dazzling Na Pali Coast and Waimea Canyon. The trip is not cheap, but it's definitely worth it. A helicopter tour gives you a view of the island that you can't get any other way. The staff at Blue Hawaiian was exceptional, particularly our pilot, Marty. All in all, I can't say enough good things about this part of my trip to Kauai.

Book your trip early to save money. We didn't and then after hearing everyone say it was their favorite thing they did in Kauai, we decided to do it and paid more. It is without a doubt worth it. It was slightly rainy but the views were amazing and there were a lot more waterfalls because of the rain. We did several excursions on the island but this was our favorite!

If you want to really see Kauai by air, choose Blue Hawaiian Helicopters! They are 5 star all the way and the safest company to fly with. Our pilot, Barrett, was born and raised in Kauai which was really special. He showed us his home from the air and gave us incredible history about the island. This is more than just a tour. This was an educational experience about Kauai. From the sweeping views of Waimea Canyon to the beauty of Hanalei Bay and waterfalls galore. There is no better way to see Kauai than by air! This is the only company I will fly with and I will return again and again!

2 hours are not enough to see the big Island but it awesome. The pilot Marco was fun and answered all our questions. We were able to see lava burning trees, it was great!

We have done a lot of excursion and site seeings- and this by far was one of the very best we have ever done! Our pilot Shane- was great! He was very informative and would circle around a certain area more then needed if we wanted to- in addition is music selection through the flight was GREAT! we felt as though we were in a movie! The sites we visited (2 active volcanos and the coast line) were so breath taking--- our pilot even landed in the valley by a 700ft waterfall where we were able to walk around and take pictures- it was so beautiful. We absolutely enjoyed this tour- we even got to see lava @ the Volcano national park!

Pilot Toshi and the staff of Blue Hawaiian Helicopters gave us an amazing tour! The best helicopter tour I've ever had of the Big Island. We watched as Pele broke out a new finger of lava in the Pahoa area and Toshi got us down perfectly to see the hot lava inside a skylight in one of the craters. "Skimpy" the adorable mascot dog was so cute too!! The incredible views of the valleys past Waipio were so beautiful they brought tears to our eyes!!

While helicopter tours are expensive, it is a great way to see the island from a perspective you will never get from the ground. The day I went the volcano was covered by rain and fog so I did the north part of the island - waterfalls. It was beautiful. I felt very safe and they played serene music through our headsets the whole flight. Our pilot Shawn, was great. The people I went up with were very nice as well. The nature you see is awe inspiring. It was really cool to see places that no human being had ever touched. I loved that.
