This is our second trip with Blue Hawaiian Helicopters and can't say enough about the staff, pilots, equipment and unbelievable tour that they provide. It is well worth the price and some areas of Kauai can only be seen from the air. Only comment is a few of my photographs had reflections from other passengers, but that should be expected with such a large viewing area.

Blue Hawaiian Helicopters picked us up from the pier, From the very beginning of the trip they were friendly and professional. Our pilot, Barrett, was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. The views were spectacular. He took us places that you would never be able to see from land. You have to make this trip!:)

Craig our pilot was skilled and knew exactly what he was talking about. LIttle pricey, however it was definitely worth the cost. The staff has the patience with even the difficult customers and are truly real "Pro's" at trying to make everyone have an excellent experience. The ride it self was truly out of this world. The day before we had done the Napali coast in a Catamaran "Capt. Andys" so when we were flying over we could see the boats out on the ocean and it gave us another perspective and it brought our experiences to "life" and made us remember how much we had seen and done. Thank you to all of the staff at Blue Hawaiian for giving my wife and I a truly memorable experience. Some Tips: 1. Wear Dark Clothing (still wear shorts as long as you have a tan) but wear dark cloths so that they don't reflect on the windows as you take pictures. 2. Be respectful to the staff as they are trying to share with you how to make your experience safe as well as memorable. 3. If you take a go pro don't bring it on a stick (they won't let you). I took my GoPro with me but put it on a hand held pod, worked great and battery lasted the entire trip. 4. Go to the bathroom right before they load you up (my wife took this real serous, i think she went 4 or 5 times). 5. Don't drink to many liquids before your flight (see number 4.)

Just returned from the true highlight of our visit to Kauai - the Blue Hawaiian helicopter tour with Barrett, our pilot! Barrett was friendly, warm, personable and very knowledgeable about the island. His narrative was interesting and enjoyable, and his smooth handling of the helicopter made the ride just perfect. Thank you, Blue Hawaiian, for the wonderful memories of this beautiful island!

We booked a helicopter flight with Blue Hawaiian Helicopters on Kaua'i, for 12 September. Barrett was our pilot. We had a spectacular morning for our flight and the experience was made all the more special by Barrett. His love for this island, his knowledge & information shared with us, his passion, all shone through during our time with him. Barrett was considerate of all his passengers, ensuring we all were able to see, photograph & appreciate his island home. I cannot speak highly enough of my experience, our wonderful pilot & this beautiful island. Kaua'i is magnificent. We will definitely be back to spend some time on this island (we're already planning the next visit). Thank you Blue Hawaiian Helicopters & thank you Barrett.

It was one of the most amazing trip I ever did they pick us up and take to the helicopter base take our weight that's is important for the seat that they will give you ... I the helicopter no matter were you seat you have a incredible views your pilot explain everything on the way you can comment with him every two have a microphone we fly over the canyon and saw some places were they film the movies passing though the coast going into the crater in general the best experience And you don't have to worry about pictures just enjoy because they have cameras recording all fly and you can buy at the end so incredible staff are friendly we had a perfect day

We found Blue Dolphin on accident... we'd wanted to book with another local company but couldn't get a reservation - so we picked Blue Dolphin because they were cheaper than the other companies. I am SO happy we did. The boat - gorgeous. The crew.... a blast, friendly, Mike was a great bartender and felt like an old friend - Ben was very helpful and our Captain Greg was knowledgeable and drove the boat perfectly!!! The views on this cruise are things you'll never see - even from a helicopter tour. We ran into two pods of Dolphins (spinners and bottlenose) saw a Monk Seal, a turtle..... and ONE GIANT TRIPLE RAINBOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The sunset was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. And the little dinner they served us was REALLY good. Spend the money and go do this tour. IT was worth every cent and it was my favorite out of 'ten adventures' that we did.

I am very scared of flying normally but this felt nothing like being on an airplane. The staff was very understanding of my fear and did a great job of making me feel at ease. We did the Hana/Haleakala tour and it was breathtaking!!!! Our pilot, Tim, was wonderful-very knowledgable, entertaining, and experienced! I would highly recommend Blue Hawaiian to anyone visiting Maui!

Planned to do this as a surprise for my hubby and teenage daughter, so was hard to keep under wraps. Organized tentatively before arriving in Waikiki, and found it was weather dependent which was a good thing as the weather during our vacation end of January 2014 was unpredictable most days. One other thing was no payment was required until you were actually going. Nice to have the shuttle pick us up at hotel and drop us off when finished!! Overall, Blue Hawaii Helicopters was easy to work with, and they run a very professional operation that was definitely worth doing if you ever visit Oahu. I had contacted one other company prior to this one and never had them follow up with me once. Though the approx. one hour helicopter tour may seem pricy it was well worth it as we had never all seen the island before and it gave us ideas as to where we wanted to drive to when we picked up our car. Our pilot Lorne was great!! Took lots of photos so did not purchase the dvd for $25. The amazing coastal and inland sights around the island, viewed from the air, were absolutely breathtaking. SO glad we did it!! Mahalo

Exceptional is all I can say. This tour is one to experience when visiting Honolulu. Julie was the pilot......and I must say her knowledge of the island made this an exceptional tour. She made every attempt to engage everyone on-board and answered lots of questions and pointed out all the places to see and added some history and knowledge as well. Best way to see most of the island and especially the major landmarks.

Exciting 2 hour helicopter tour of the island. If you do nothing else in Hawaii take this tour. They are on most islands and the tour from the air is spectacular. The pilots are excellent tour guides with a lot of knowledge about the history and lore of the islands. They even provide the option of buying a video of your tour. Be sure to request the front seat.

My husband and I have never been on a helicopter tour before. We have always wanted to go and all our friends have mentioned it to us before our trip. We originally wanted to book with another tour but they were full. Luckily we found a spot with these guys and we loved every minute of it. ( i think we actually got the better place!) Our tour guide was really wonderful, he made sure everyone on the helicopter was comfortable and even the super nervous individuals! (including me) I can't think of a better way to see the island, it was even more special because we hiked so many of the same places a few days before. Lastly, they were great about giving you an intro to the helicopter and safety video. Right before our flight. There were also details such as safety zones marked on the landing floor to make sure you don't do anything silly. Plus there was at least 1-2 guides showing you the way into the helicopter and helping you strap in. I really felt safe and in the right hands. The details go a long way. Thank you so much!

Fantastic! Truly recommend Blue Hawaiian for a tremendously fun and exciting view of the island of Kauai. The people who run this tour are true professionals and we had a wonderful 45 minutes in the air. It was worth every penny and more! It is a great way to view this island paradise as it would be near nigh impossible to see the sights on foot. The commentary was informed and interesting. They call it their Heaven and Earth Tour and it really is that and a must do! This trip also included a tour of the some of the attractions on the island and light beach lunch.

This is absolutely the way to see the island. Geoffrey and the rest of the staff was amazing! If it's your first time to the island;plan this your first couple of days so you can truly see everything the island has to offer. my girlfriend and I literally were in awe around every turn during the helicopter ride. Don't miss out on this experience.
