This was my first helicopter ride so I didn't know what to expect.  My excitement won over my nerves and it was great!  I tend to get motion sickness but only felt it the last 5 minutes when we were landing.  My fault though as I was staring at the ground. They picked us up at our hotel which is a great bonus and cost savings.  They were also precisely on time which I also appreciate.  Everything was very professional and I recommend it if your budget allows.

Highly recommend this your. Great way to see the island. I would recommend doing it your first day here so you can plan and navigate your stay. Jen was a great pilot ! We felt very safe and would do it again.

Never been on a helicopter in my life till I jumped on this one.  IT was smooth and never felt safer with their pilots.   What a great way to look at OAHU! Wow... I don't think there was a bad seat in the chopper. The views of the island are amazing... can't say much about it.  The pilots tell you a lot of the area.. Point out the malls, Gilligans island, Magnum P.I. house.... movie seats and more. Great price... for about 45 mins of touring. I used my AAA discount.. only paid 210. Enjoy! aloha

My husband and I had a fantastic time on a 45 minute tour of Oahu in July 2015. Our pilot was amazing! I was a little nervous and I didn't even have to say a word, he reassured us. The whole staff is very professional and take pride in their company. It was a little cloudy the day we went so we didn't get to see the waterfalls but we saw a ton of rainbows and breathtaking sights.

It was breathtakingly beautiful! Everyone should do it at least once. Julie was our pilot and she was fantastic! this tour made me appreciate living on Oahu even more.

Butch was our pilot and an awesome guide. Was by far the best tour we have taken to see the island of Oahu. Thanks for a terrific flight and tour. I would tell anyone thinking of doing this to bring a good camera as the sights are absolutely beautiful. They'll even take some photos of you with your camera. Had a great time , Gogo aka Gerry was wonderful. We had a great group of people and it was fun! Only thing is that the motion sickness will get a little uncomfortable. Also the day before we had my mom do the tour and she did the volcano and waterfall tour with no stoppage . We all had to stop at Hilo for refueling which we thought was odd. Overall it was a great experience.

Yeah, near 2 hr. tour is pretty damn expensive but totally worth it ... must to do when visiting the Big Island ... We flew over active volcanoes and saw small amounts of magma flowing and glowing out of the hole on the surface. Then flew over Hilo and lush forests embedded with numerous waterfalls and picturesque coastline vistas.  Even if you are prone to getting air sickness, I would skip lunch, grab the barf bag and go nevertheless.  You will see simply spectacular view of the island that you can't get from just driving or hiking. The staff was friendly and courteous, offered wet towels and ice water to cool off. Wearing the headphones and music being piped through them and the pilot explaining things every step of the way enhanced the tour, not to mention filtering the engine noise. Our pilot Karl was professional, as well as friendly and personable. Top notch attraction, highly recommended.

Started off our trip with this tour... It was breathtaking!!!!! We did the Kohala Adventure which showed us the waterfalls and valleys such as Waipio and Waimanu and the coastline along Kohala and Kona. It was a truly amazing experience. Much of the scenery you can't see unless you are in a helicopter so it is definitely a good tour to do. It also gives you a different perspective of the island. Our pilot was excellent and gave us good information about the area we were flying over. The headphones also played music when the pilot wasn't talking which coincided well with with different parts of the helicopter ride. This definitely added to the experience and feeling of the tour.

I decided to surprise my boyfriend with an Oahu helicopter tour for his birthday, and we were both so impressed with the tour!  Now we are both locals who grew up on Oahu so we weren't sure what to expect.  The views were spectacular, especially flying into the Valley over Sacred Falls. By far the best part! Our pilot Julie was super friendly and all the staff from booking to customer service were wonderful. It is a bit pricey but think about it, you're riding in a million dollar helicopter.  Totally worth it. I can't wait to fly with Blue Hawaiian Helicopters on the outer islands. If you are visiting, I highly recommend doing this flight first ad the tour allows you to see everything Oahu has to offer and areas you don't need to waste your time visiting ad the view from above us better

It's our first time, friendly staffs but the pilot who also was the tour guide was not speaking very clearly so we had a hard time understanding him. He's absolutely friendly and nice but he needs to work on his communication skill.

A very solid, quality experience.  Definitely would recommend, but consider a few caveats.  This is a luxurious experience at $200+ a pop, and you might get air-sick, from the vibration of the transport.  Not the pilots fault, just a reflection of the vehicle [chopper]. Probably best to do this elsewhere than Oahu - based on the complimentary DVD.  The pilot, Julie, was incredibly professional and informative.  I had a great time, never felt unsafe, and saw lots of wonderful sites, including some totally inaccessible by foot.  I did however spend a grand portion of the time adjusting the air conditioning to stay cool enough and reduce the nausea. Highly recommend.  Buy the "Quease Ease" in the guest shop before your flight...

Just took a tour around Oahu earlier today.  Julie was our pilot and did a fantastic job.  Pointed out all kinds of great details about the island, including where many movies and TV shows were filmed. The natural beauty of the islands speak for themselves.  This helicopter tour has got to be the best way to see it and in a short amount of time!  I booked only 1 day in advance, which required me to call.  The price wasn't cheap but it still remains as the highlight of my stay on the island!

blue Hawaiian Wow what a great flight!!!!!!  We got picked up at our hotel In a very nice clean van?  The  driver of the van was one of the pilots... So on the drive to airport he told us about the flight the flight we would be taking. When we arrived at the Blue Hawaiian we went through a safety briefing. Our flight was 45 minutes . We went all around the island, our pilot new every place on the island... Plus she was funny...and a great pilot..   When we got back we purchased a DVD of our flight it's great....and they have great T-shirts and hats!!     Blue Hawaiian Helicopters was the beat part of our trip...... We can not wait to do it again .....!!! Walter Weir
