Aloha! The trip was very exciting and insightful. Brody did a fantastic job communicating the natural history of the islands and it's inhabitants. What an absolutely amazing experience this tour gave our family! The commentary by Jeremy helped us understand the history and wonders of the phenomenon we were witnessing. To see volcanic hot spots and lava being created was incredible. This company is very professional and safety conscious. Highly recommend.

We spent the precious day doing a drive around the route we took on our helicopter tour. The road trip was great but the helicopter took us to areas not possible to visit. The volcano covering and viewing the lava hitting the ocean was great. We then headed to the waterfalls by following the coast. This was my favourite part as you cruise low. The pilot does have options on where to go. Highly recommend asking for the coast through Hilo. Waterfalls were sensational. I know it's not cheap, but it Is well worth it.

very great flight, wonderful pilot, awesome sights

My husband and I and his parents took a Blue Hawaiian helicopter tour of Kauai with Brian last week, and it was definitely the highlight of a Hawaiian vacation that was chock-full of bucket-list items. Three of us had never flown in a helicopter before; my husband is a pilot. The three newbies felt completely safe, as there is a consistent and professional commitment to safety both before and during the flight. The company's operation is exceptional and obviously focused on safety without getting in the way of "having a great time." Getting in and out of the helcopter is easy; headsets provided audio, well-selected and well-timed music, and opportunities to chat among the passengers and with the pilot. You also have the opportunity to view and buy a DVD of your personal flight, which is really neat. Our pilot was not only pleasant and professional, but he truly loves his adopted home of Kauai. We spent 55 minutes seeing all the sights from the air: breathtaking waterfalls, pristine beaches, canyons, and even the crater from which the island was formed ... in other words, the 75% of the island you will never see except by air. Brian provided both information and personal insight about the history and geology of the incredibly beautiful sights you'll see. It is a wonderful way to pull the island together for you - we saw Waimea Canyon from the ground and the Na Pali Coast from the cruise ship, but Blue Hawaiian let us also see both from the air. All four of us viewed this as a highlight, if not THE highlight, of our trip. Very highly recommended.

We took the Hana/Haleakala tour and I enjoyed it a lot! We choose the ecostar helicopter for the extra visibility and it was a good choice. The tour was the right length and we got some great views of the waterfalls in the Hana (south) side of the island. The pilot did a wonderful job narrating our ride as well. It was a bit expensive though. The price would have been fine for 1 or 2, but 4 was a bit of sticker shock. A group or kid discount would be nice. My wife also got air sick but I can't really fault the business or pilot. But, be aware if you get motion sick in cars or boats.

Blue Hawaiian helicopters is an easy company to work with. Their people are friendly, they answer tons of questions, and will work to make your experience just the way you want it. I wanted to surprise my husband and make sure he had a really fun pilot to talk to and they picked just the right guy. We had a great flight !
