All the information available will explain that there are parts of Kauai that you can simply not see travelling by car. When you have experienced a helicopter trip you will realise why. We took our flight early on a sunny Sunday morning. We booked our tickets through the hotel and the whole process was very efficient. An interesting safety video explains the whole process of entering and alighting the helicopter and from the outset it is clear that safety is of primary concern. Once aboard our pilot Marty was brilliant. He made all six passengers welcome and throughout the flight he demonstrated his knowledge of the areas visited. Other reviews have mentioned that certain seats were not as good as others as a number of key sites were on the right side of the helicopter. Marty made sure that he turned the helicopter around so that everyone got a good view and photo opportunity. The flight lasts the best part of an hour and it is one of the best hours you will spend seeing sights like the Na Pali Coast and the Waimea Canyon. A brilliant trip and worth every penny.

October 2017, while staying in Kappa, Kaua’i Hawaii, we decided to splurge a little and do a helicopter trip around Kaua’i. I’ve put this off several times due to costs. I’ll tell you we had a ball on this helicopter trip around and through Kaua’i. Brian our pilot was great, even though he came from Tennessee, he knew the history of Kaua’i, who owned what property and how much they owned. We were lucky enough to have perfect weather and we were able to fly into and around the crater,that formed Kaua’i millions of years ago. We flew around the NaPali coast line, which is only accessible by air or boat. We saw where several movies were made, pirates of the Caribbean, South Pacific etc. I would fly again.

The sights were remarkable thanks to our pilot Marco. Spectacular trip and so very smooth - important because my wife can suffer from motion illness. Great information during flight and happy to see lava in three different locations! Every bit worth the price for the care given the passengers in making this a worthwhile trip. I recommend exchanging emails with your other passengers so you can share your best pics.

Barrett was our pilot and he was the bees knees! Showed us some beautiful sights and filled us in on pop culture and Kauai history!

pilots knowledge of island made trip very enjoyable

I had to be persuaded to do this but I am so glad I did. The ride was very smooth and the views are truly breathtaking. Pat was our pilot and he was very good - equal parts terrific pilot, knowledgeable tour guide, and soothing psychologist for nervous passengers. Although this first trip may have spoiled me for any/all future helicopter adventures, I would do this again for sure
