Ethan was a great pilot. The volcano was amazing and the falls were great too. Worth every moment.

This was the first thing we did when we arrived in Kauai. We flew first thing in the morning. I was apprehensive because on previous helicopters tours I had gotten pretty airsick. No problem here! Our pilot, Dawn was excellent. We saw so many beautiful areas of the island and she was very informative. The location for us was excellent, we were actually able to just walk across the street from our resort to their offices. A helicopiter tour of this island is a must or you will miss out on seeing so much!

AMAZING! Would highly highly highly recommend doing a helicopter tour in Kauai! We did the hour & a half tour they landed at Jurassic Falls, which is one I'd do a hundred times again! The waterfall way absolutely amazing & our pilot was great too! He gave great info during the tour & gave us an easy ride! It's a little pricy, but SO WORTH IT!!! If you get nauseous, definitely take something little before & don't eat food right before going (definitely got to my husband towards the end)!

We went with blue hawaiian helicopters this week on a 11:30AM helicopter tour. It was truly one of the best things you can do anywhere, not just Hawaii. We were lucky to have good weather and a clear day and saw numerous waterfalls, Waimea canyon, the spectacular Napali coastline and north shore. Mt Waialeale crater area is breathtakingly beautiful from where the helicopter can take you. You can see clouds above and water falls "weeping" down the mountain. The company itself seemed very professionally run, the staff was organized and friendly. The personalized in-flight video/DVD they provide for ~$25 after your trip is also a great keepsake worth having. In fact, had I known earlier that it would cover the entire trip so well, and not just sample clippings, I would not bothered being distracted from time to time taking my own videos. The trip gets pricy, esp. for a family, but it will probably be one of the high-lights of your trip and a must do, especially since so much of the green island is inaccessible otherwise. I also want to special mention our Pilot Brad. Thanks for making our trip so wonderful!

On Fathers Day my wife surprised me with a amazing one hour flight around Kauai with Captain Miguel .  The one hour tour was the perfect way to see the entire island in places that locals have never got to see.   Captain Miguel was very knowledgeable about the local history and the names of the all the areas we flew over.  He took the time to hover and fly 360's in the areas we wanted photos and flew us through the Waimea Canyon up close to waterfalls and up the Napali Coast Canyons.   Our favorite parts were the flight over "The Cathedrals of the Napali Coast" and ending the ride by the flight up into the center of the island to Mount Waialeale one of the rainiest places on earth, and the ancient volcano crater that formed the island of Kauai.  Seeing the "weeping walls" of all the waterfalls coming off the mountain was magical. I highly recommend the Blue Hawaiian helicopter ride as the best way to get to see the entire island in one hour and to find places to do further exploring on the ground.

At first, the thought of spending USD589 is daunting, but the 2 hour experience is unforgettable and you quickly forget about the cost. Our pilot, Shane was very knowledgeable and answered everyones questions during the flight. It took some time for us to get to the volcano, but there was plenty to look at and Shane shared a lot of information as we flew towards the horizon. We arrived at the volcano and mother nature put on a show for us and Shane circled the crater ensuring all 6 passengers got to see the red glow of the lava. We followed the smoke plumes escaping from the lava vents to where it flows into the ocean and we again circled so everyone got a good look. We then continued down the spectacular coast and it became clear that our pilot had left the best until last. Shane expertly manoeuvred the helicopter into deep valleys with towering waterfalls which were hard to believe. We skipped over one valley after another with more beautiful waterfalls before taking us back.

We just got back from our first trip to Hawaii. We visited 4 islands in 2 weeks and 1 of the things we knew we had wanted to do while planning this trip was to do a helicopter tour. Wow - am I glad we did- It was breathtaking! Our pilot was great and the scenery was amazing! We only did the 40 min tour and next time we want to do the 2 hour tour.

We were back and forth on which helicopter tour we were going to do, and we were so happy we picked this Big Island Spectacular (2 hour) tour! You get to see so much of the island this way - from all the different landscaping on the Big Island to the volcanoes to the cliffs for an up-close view of the waterfalls. It truly was amazing! They picked us up at our hotel so it could not have been any easier either. Our pilot, Eli, was informative and hilarious. He did a great job making sure we were all at ease and could see everything no matter which side of the helicopter we were on.

Had a fantastic trip today after our trip yesterday got cancelled due to low cloud coverage. It was a bit of a hike doing another 4 hour round trip today but worth every minute. We were very fortunate to see three different lots of lava today - into the sea, down the hillside and in the crater. We'd have been happy with one. Carl our pilot was very informative and obviously loves his job. His enthusiasm on how well the lava was visibly flowing into the sea and also the trickle down the hillside (not as visually exciting but far rarer to see) was matched only by our own. All the staff on both days were great. The cancellation was handled well (they could have sent us up on a very low cloud day and we'd have had a poor trip) and the flight day itself was excellent. Would we be so enthusiastic if we hadn't seen so much lava? Probably not but we'd still have recognised the great staff and their treatment of us and the other passengers.

My husband and I (newlyweds�) took the Island tour yesterday. It was our 2nd time, as we took the tour last September. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to include it on our honeymoon trip this time!! Brandon was our pilot this time and he was awesome!! He was very knowledgeable and informative about all the areas we covered. It was very windy and we encountered some areas of turbulence, which made us a little nervous, however, Brandon handle that helicopter perfectly and made sure we were all comfortable!! He was absolutely amazing!! Awesome experience!! Will definitely highly recommend!
