Great tour of the island. Mark gave us a great ride across Kauai.

Ich würde diesen Rundflug jedem empfehlen, der die Insel sehen möchte, jedoch wenig Zeit hat. Der Pilot klappert die verschiedenen Landschaften ab und erzählt gelegentlich interessante Dinge. Der Flug ist sehr ruhig, was wohl am Model des Helicopters Eco Star liegt. Ich werde auch auf anderen Insel einen Rundflug mit Blue Hawaiian machen und kann es jedem empfehlen.

Multiple friends had told us a helicopter tour was the highlight of their a Hawaiian vacation and Blue Hawaiian was highly recommended. We'd never done a helicopter tour before so we had nothing to compare it to but BH seemed to be a very professional and well run company. The info we received from the website, in confirmation emails/ calls, and upon arriving was sufficient to make me feel well prepared, comfortable, and in good hands. The tour itself (90 minute Maui Spectacular on an eco star) was not as exhilarating or awe-inspiring as I had expected but it was still very enjoyable. The weather was cooperative so I think we hit all the sights. The highlight for me was seeing the many humpback whales in the channel including a mama and her calf. We'd seen whales on boat trips before but seeing them from an aerial perspective was even more amazing! Our stop at the Ulupalakua ranch was also very cool. In addition we saw the mountaintops of the Big Island, Haleakala (eh), several waterfalls, and beautiful coastlines. All of that said, the rest of my family (husband and three teenagers) were initially either ambivalent or opposed to taking the tour. I rallied everyone hoping they would change their minds once we were in the air but unfortunately they didn't. In retrospect I wish we'd not spent the money as it is very expensive and, for our family, did seem not worth it.

This was my first helicopter ride because I have always been afraid to go. This was an excellent tour and I felt very safe. We saw the whole island of Kauai which is only possible by helicopter. The helicopter was very nice and the pilot seemed very knowledgeable. The facility you take off from is very nice and has clean bathrooms.
