A once in a lifetime trip. Our pilot, Corey, was knowledgeable, personable, and entertaining. It was a perfect balance of interesting information without being over the top. The views of the waterfalls and lava from the air was breathtaking. It was very expensive - About $300 per person - but i have no regrets. Spend the money! I think we did it right. We took a day trip so that we could have the best views of the ocean and other terrain. Then, we took a car to the Jaggar Museum and Kīlauea observation point to see the flames in the dark. I’m sure the helicopter is cool at night too, but this allowed us to have the best of both worlds.

A great tour! Our pilot Marco was awesome - very knowledgeable, friendly and funny. We didn't see red lava but it was still an amazing tour. The helicopter was very comfortable. I'd suggest that when you tell people to wear dark clothes, that you also tell them to wear something that will cover their neck and shoulders - I was wearing a sleeveless top and my shoulders got a bit rubbed by the seatbelt. A very enjoyable tour, I would definitely recommend it to a friend. Many thanks.

While we were originally disappointed as the circle of fire trip was cancelled due to lightening, we were thrilled with the rebooked trip that included the waterfalls (circle island tour). Our pilot, Patrick, was fabulous as we were up close and personal with the volcanoes and the waterfalls. He was great with our kids and the other passenger’s son, having music to match the mood of the area and instilling facts in a fun and educational way. Highly recommend.

I had so much fun on our helicopter ride with pilot Casey. It was so cool to go over the volcano and see the lava. The music was amazing. If I could I would do this tour everyday. I had such a good time, I wish I was a pilot. - Anna

The pilot was wonderful and very informative. Helicopter was in excellent condition. Very thorough safety briefing. The views were astounding and the pilot made sure everyone got to see both sides.

My husband and I absolutely loved seeing more of beautiful Kauai through the Blue Hawaiian helicopter tour! We were blessed with a clear, sunny day so we were able to see some gorgeous, scenic views of the island. Scott, our pilot, shared interesting information, yet gave us opportunity to interact and ask questions. I was able to take great photos! It was truly breathtaking and beautiful! It was a wonderful experience, and one we hope others can experience as well!

Great experience. We got right up close to the craters, as low as 500 feet! It's impossible to get closer by road, so it's the only way to see it. The helicopters have excellent visibility, and the windows are nice and clean with no scratches. If you are wearing a light colored top, they'll lend you a black t shirt to minimize reflections. There is a good safety presentation, and they have strict procedures (which is reassuring). The staff, especially the pilot, is very knowledgeable, and keep you entertained during the whole flight.

Had a wonderful experience flying over, around and deep into the North Kohala Coast. Our pilot, Shane, was very informative, safety conscious and pleasant. His music selection was at once humorous and also appropriate for the views we saw. The views of the countless waterfalls were spectacular and only seen from a helicopter or boat. The entire experience, from reservations, arrival, greeting, safety presentations, flight, and time duration was worth every penny. Highly recommended.

Shay was an amazing guide! He was very informative and funny throughout the entire ride! He made it fun and comfortable for all of us and for the kids! We will definitely recommend Blue Hawaiian Helicopters to our friends visiting the island. Thank you!
