This was an unbelievable experience with Carl! The stop at the secret waterfall is breathtaking, and a nice glass of champagne does not hurt. He was extremely fun on the tour - the playlist was exceptional! Thanks for the most memorable part of our trip.

Thanks to Flyin' Brian for an amazing experience we couldn't have experienced from the ground! 2nd time to Kauai and so glad we took the time to fly with Blue Hawaiian. Top notch from the moment you enter the front door. Brian was informative, kept it light and entertaining. Highly recommended by a couple of Iowans! Maholo!

Trip over Volcan
Big Island - Hilo

We travelled from our hotel on Kona Kohala west coast over to Hilo via the central route which was pretty interesting in itself with a 2000m elevation. Easy to check in at Hilo airport, brief safety video and off with our pilot Jason whom was very informative and took plenty of time to let us see the crater, took us to the coast to see lava/water junction and back via waterfalls. The Eco helicopter had great views. Really enjoyable trip.

What a beautiful day in the air! We had a great time flying over Kauai with Bryan. The sights were incredible - so many waterfalls and the views of the Na Pali coast and Waialeale crater were breathtaking. And Bryan was an AMAZING pilot - so friendly and knowledgeable, and his enthusiasm is contagious. It's inspiring that he's living his dream :)

Best Way to See the Island
Kauai - Lihue

We flew with Brody who was so knowledgeable about the island and the culture. It was an amazing way to see the island, something you must do if you’re on Kauai.

Volcano and waterfalls... good but not a highlight
Big Island - Hilo

We took the Circle of Fire Tour in the Eco helicopter. We decided to spend the extra because it was a birthday present for two family members, and we wanted to make sure they had great views - which they did. The booking agent noted it was 2 pax birthdays, and they requested window or front seats (although we were told that for safety, the computer allocates seats according to weight). As it turned out, the birthday people were in the front next to the pilot! We found Blue Hawaiian had excellent communication with us over the phone and via email. The flight was great and we saw lava in the Pu'u'O'o cone of Kilauea. And the pilot was also great because he circled the cone both clockwise and anti clockwise so we could all get to see the lava. Unfortunately, our stomachs did not enjoy the change in direction. The flight gave us great views over Hilo, the lava fields with smoke coming out the steam vents and into the cone. The waterfall part of the tour was a little underwhelming. Yes there were quite a few waterfalls, but there was not much water flowing unfortunately. If this is the only volcano related activity you do, then this would have been amazing, but we visited the Volcano National Park where, in the dark, we saw the lava spattering in the crater of Kilauea. We also hiked onto the lava field at sunset and saw flowing lava. Both of those activities were equally as good without the price tag.
