We had a great flight! Blue Hawaiian is a very professionally run company. As a pilot myself I was impressed with their safety program and with the skills of our pilot Hugo. The helicopter We were in was a 3.2 million dollar Airbus EC130 “Eco-Star” This is one of the nicest helicopters you can I’ve been in. The tour was incredible, included landing in a remote location mid mountain height to look down upon the sea have some Champagne and then back aboard the Helo to continue our tour. Thank you for making this trip a memorable one!

We arrived at Hilo airport, there is plenty of parking at a small price, we were greeted by the staff of Blue Hawaiian Helicopters, they were very helpful and pleasant to deal with, after we did a pre-flight safety briefing we were lead to helicopter. Our pilot Sarah was wonderful, she was very informative and had a great sense of humor. Our trip was just under an hour and was worth every cent. I was very impressed with the professionalism of Blue Hawaiian Helicopter and detail to safety.

We had a choice of driving hours around Hilo and walk to the volcanic area or flying over it for about 1-2 hours, and chose the latter partially because I've already been to the volcanoes on foot years ago and we had limited time. Plus, why say no to a helicopter ride!? What you see from land and from the air is completely different so I would recommend doing both if you had the time. From the helicopter, you see not only the interesting variations in biological composition and terrain of the big island, where you see both volcanic rocks and lavish rainforests, but also the hidden crest in the mountains where the Kamehameha royalty used to live. You'll be humbled by the serenity and power of mother nature.

I can't say enough about this company. Easy to schedule rides. Staff is friendly and helpful. Sean was our pilot and the flight was smooth with great commentary about the island. Weather was petfect so he gave us an extra bike of an old War bomber that crashed in the middle of nowhere many years ago. Everyone survived BYW. It's costly but worth every penny.

Thank you for a completely AMAZING tour Paul!!! This was the highlight of our trip - we loved seeing all the beautiful sights of Oahu, and would recommend this experience 100%. Mahalo!!!

Awesome flight. Glenda, our pilot, did a wonderful tour. The private landing was amazing and a very unique experience and scenic view. The tour of the islands from the air was truly a breathtaking view. Also, seeing whales from the air is the best. Thank you.

The helicopter was definitely nice and comfortable. The two center rear seats however did not have great visibility. $300 was a lot of money to have a partial view of what other passengers had a better view. I feel those seats should have a discounted rate based on poor visibility.

A M A Z I N G EXPERIENCE!!!!!! Pilot Josh was awesome & hilarious! We had the best experience and I have to give it up to Josh. Overall the booking process was seamless except the initial booking. We had been told to give average weights, but then was told the day before they need accurate weights. We ended up changing our flight to the following day and edited our weights! They were super accommodating and very sweet.  Thank you to Pilot Josh and the entire blue Hawaiian team!
