what a great experience with blue Hawaiian. from check in to check out. it was very hands on and knowledgeable the staff was very funny and amazing and so was our captin thank you for the amazing flight.. i recommend this to everyone you will have a blasttttttt!!!!!

This was an absolutely incredible experience. Jamie the front desk worker was welcoming and kind. Our pilot, Brown, was fantastic! He put us at ease, used humor, and flew the craft in a steady and safe way, while circling waterfalls and stunning ocean views. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

We booked the Big Island Spectacular Eco Landing flight. The operative word is “Landing” because on this tour we landed at the base of a 1200 ft waterfall along the Kohala coast that has no access by land. It was a lush green landing zone next to the pool the waterfall spills into from the high cliff above. Now rewind to the beginning of our journey. After take off we flew in between two volcanos, Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa on our way to the third and most recently active volcano, Kilauea. If the day is clear as it was for our flight you will have the opportunity of seeing six volcanoes like we did. The other active one is Hualalei and then Kohala which is either dormant or extinct. The sixth one is Haleakala, over on the next island, Maui. Our pilot & guide, Carl, is a Hawaii state certified tour guide as are all other pilots at Blue Hawaiian. Carl genuinely seem to enjoy flying as if it was his first flight. There wasn’t a moment that I could detect he was bored flying to the same destinations. He gave us quite a geography lesson on the islands and volcanoes as well as demographics of the locals and towns. This being my first experience in a helicopter I didn’t know what the feeling would be like. It was very smooth and there were times i could have closed my eyes and would not have known I was flying. But to make it interesting Carl played different musical sound tracks in our headphones that took the experience to another level. Everyone wears headsets to muffle the engine above. They are all tied in to the same audio system with microphones so all passengers can hear any questions to the pilot and his answer. If you are considering taking a flight. Here are my two biggest tips... (1) Try to ask for seats in front or on the left window side. Although the pilot does a good job doing rotations in both directions around volcanoes and waterfalls once your flying along the coastline land will be to your left, and (2) book your flight at the beginning of your vacation. You will see a lot of destinations that will interest you to take your rental car to on another day of your trip.

Excellent time! The views are amazing with countless waterfalls. And of course a wonderful pilot to show it all to you!

It was great for me and my whole family. We all enjoyed the pilot's commentary and the breath taking views. I strongly recommend this flight to anyone coming to the island of Oahu.

The helicopter tour we took to Molokai in the Ecostar was amazing. It was so unique to be able to see the island and ocean from a birds eye view. You could see the reef and you visit several cliff waterfalls that are flowing into the ocean.

I have book Blue Hawaiian multi times and every year they never let me or group with me down to state. Best way to see island is helicopter. Great job

Flew in to Hilo and we where there and ready to go, very nice, friendly staff and the pilot was very informative. Great photo oops during the entire flight.
