The pilots here are amazing and do a great job showing you everything that is interesting to see. the helicopters are very comfortable and have a smooth ride, mostly due to the pilots. you are not rushed and are treated like they appreciate your business. The CD/DVD's/USB's of your flight are expensive and good quality but you can always take a video yourself. Highly recommended!

We did the 1.5 hour tour that included landing and drinks halfway through - Maui Spectacular maybe? - and it was just awesome. The views were incredible, and our pilot was excellent. Shared a lot of great information about the island. Saw tons of waterfalls, and 1000 year old settlements along the coast - very cool. We felt safe and as though we were in good hands. If I could just rate the pilot I would give him ten stars! I rate the company 4/5 simply because when we got there, they said we could upgrade our seats to the front two seats for $100/each. We declined. There was only one other couple on our flight, and BHH also offered them the same upgrade, which they also declined. So do the math here: both couples had a 50/50 chance of getting those seats for free; yet, any of us could have unnecessarily paid $200 for those seats on top of what we already paid for. That felt scammy. As it turned out, the other couple got the front seats, and my husband, daughter and I got the back seats. I'm so glad we ended up in the back. The front middle seat looked like it had more of an obstructed view than our back seats, with the helicopter window bars. The front right seat would have been great. However, the views from the back were just fine! A lot of people have said that they couldn't see much from the back, but I disagree. I could see great. Our pilot did a great job of turning the helicopter so folks on both sides could see. I highly recommend taking this tour with this business!

Excellent helicopter trips. Lots to see here, not just lava. Comfortable ride. Experienced pilots. Beautiful scenery, waterfalls, canyons, beach cliffs, where there are no roads but you could scout a multi-day backpacking trip to an isolated beach or rainforest.

Amazing!

Picked this gem of a trip up yesterday. Came from a cruise ship for the tour. Pick up at harbour and returned. And Wow is all I can say. To experience the volcano from the air is amazing. I had an amazing seat by the window and saw the beauty and devastation that a volcanic eruption can bring. We didnt see any red lava but then none has been seen since the 2018 eruption. Waterfalls were interesting and pretty but not spectacular. But still a nice sight to see. Full safety briefing given. Only criticism in our pilot Ron was we didn't get warning that we were nearly at the waterfalls so cameras went ready. But a trip well worth the money.

Super relaxing way to see Oahu and appreciate its beauty. Our pilot, Miguel was fantastic with no question being too silly making for great conversation. Our teenagers now appreciate more of the natural beauty and history and can't wait to see more during our stay. We would definitely recommend Blue Hawaiian Helicopters. Do it early during your stay as it sets up your itinerary for the remaining days! Thank you!

My partner and I had a fantastic experience on board the helicopter with pilot Steven. It was unforgettable voyage seeing the whole island of Honolulu. Will highly recommend to friends and family!
