Great tour! Blue hawaiian rocks.

My teen son and I took the Circle of Fire tour out of Hilo in April 2021. We had been to the island and Volcanoes Park on a previous trip. I regretted not flying over then, so it had to be done. Wesley was our pilot and guide and he did a great job. He had his first lesson at 16 and he has been flying ever since. He's raising a family there, so that was a nice perspective to share. Wesley was very knowledgeable about the island and EVERYTHING we flew over. Highlights = When they made Michigan lady don a real mask instead of the fake lace mask she was sporting to evade the law and put others at risk. She had the nerve to whine about it too. She was without any consideration to the crew or pilot whose very hands would be guiding our safety. Kudos to Blue Hawaiian and all of Hawaii of that matter in your handling of this emergency. = We did indeed get up close and personal with several volcano craters. We even flew down into a large old one. It was really cool to be level with the trees when looking out the window - We spent a good chunk of time above the active cauldron that you can view from the overlook at the park. We were right over the old road that had caved in. But in sunlight you can't see the glow unless it's shooting out. I doubt they fly when that happens. = The waterfalls on the way back = quality and easy audio system. Comfy copter with lots of large windows. We did have 2 empty seats as a bonus - flew right over a Southwest jet taxiing as we came in for our landing. It seemed so close and made a really unique photo

Look at the words of the volcano. In fact, taking a helicopter is the most convenient, and of course the cost is also the highest. Viewing the lava erupted by a Hawaiian volcano from a height, the scene is indeed quite shocking.

Booked the Kohala Coast Adventure Tour for me and my son and couldn't have been happier. We weren't able to book a rental car because of the shortage and decided to splurge on this helo tour instead - best decision! Marco was our pilot and was truly outstanding. Didn't want the trip to end. Will definitely book again next time we come back to HI. Thanks for a truly memorable and breathtaking experience!

Our family of 6 rates the Circle of Fire helicopter tour a 9/10 (minus one for cloudy weather). If you think you’ve seen Vocanoe NP you haven’t really seen it until you fly through a crater and see the steaming vents. Wesley provided excellent commentary and sufficient Dad jokes to keep us all entertained. Well done!

Loved our trip over the caldera. Very educational. Our guide was knowledgeable. Had a great time. Was one of least expensive of all the helicopter tours.
