STUNNING views of the island that you really can’t get any other way! At $285 per person for an hour-long ride, it’s definitely pricey, but if you can afford it, I would highly recommend. Our pilot, David, was great! I felt a little woozy after, and my ears were in a little pain, but the cold washcloths they provide are really refreshing. (They offer coffee and water beforehand—I would suggest avoiding the coffee before the ride.)

If you are in Kauai you must take a helicopter tour. We choose Blue Hawaiian and could not have been happier with our choice. The staff was friendly and professional. Safety was a priority and the helicopter was great. The pilot was awesome and told great information and stories on the flight. He made sure to engage all five us in conversation during the flight. This is the best was to see the parts of this island you can’t access by car.

An absolute must for visiting Kauai and Blue Hawaiian is fantastic. The ground staff, pilots and helicopters are outstanding. What I really appreciate about this company is that if the conditions aren’t good for seeing the sights they do not fly. Others do and it’s a waste of a lot of money. Our pilot, Brian, was super knowledgeable about the island and its history. He really made it a memorable trip.

This was definitely a cool experience. Getting up close to some really tall waterfalls and sea cliffs, flying through a huge dormant volcano crater, and getting to do it all in a helicopter was definitely unforgettable. Our pilot was really nice and I did enjoy his commentary during the flight explaining some of the history of the islands. Overall a great experience. However it does leave you wanting more. I wish we would have explored the island of Molokai more than did instead of going back and touring Maui at the end. Other than that I think it was a great time.
