its good ig but like i dont like to fly

We took a helicopter tour four days after the unfortunate crash of helicopter belonging to another tour company. Our pilot was a consummate professional with military experience. The pre-flight briefing was very thorough and the loading and unloading of the helicopter was done with military precision. I understand our helicopter was new and state of the art for touring. We stayed very high in the air, perhaps understandable given the recent tragic event; however, we observed several helicopters flying well below us and much closer to the stunning scenery of Kauai. Our flight was delayed because a passenger headset didn’t work and it didn’t seem like we got any extra time on the tour. If you want a very safe flight with an extremely reputable company but an average flight experience, I would strongly recommend Blue Hawaiian helicopters.

Among the ultimate thrills in life take place in the air. Because we are not birds, then there is an inherent risk involved and that is what makes it fun and exciting, because you know you're not supposed to be up there. I did this Kauai helicopter tour in June of 2010, and it was a great experience. I went on the first flight of the day which I think is important for the calmest and clearest weather. I also did the blue Hawaiian flight over the volcano on the big island. After reading about a recent crash helicopter crash on Kauai, I realized that I would probably do even more research the next time I took a helicopter flight.

Blue Hawaiian Helicopters did an amazing job, from the moment we checked in. I was a bit nervous but Steve our pilot made us comfortable and it was clear from the moment we boarded he was very experienced. It was as if we were floating on top of the world. We did the Ring of Fire Tour and we were able to see things we wouldn’t have been able to see otherwise. We even flew into a crater! Amazing time and I would highly recommend!

My friend and I both considered this the highlight of our trip. It was amazing to see Diamond Head's crater from above, the Dole plantation, Pearl Harbor and other sites from the air. Our pilot was a good guide and the flight was fun and educational.

I thought Josh was an excellent pilot! He was very knowledgeable and calm throughout the entire flight.

Stunning view of the natural beauty of Oahu. Very knowledgable, experienced pilot who answered a lot of questions including some from young children with a lot of patience. Really glad to have had the opportunity.
