I can't give more than 5 stars but our pilot Matt and the office team deserve a 10! Yes, it's expensive, but the two hour Big Island spectacular is really just that; spectacular! The eco star chopper is comfortable and safe. The views are beyond breathtaking. Matt did a great job flying and narrating the sites! Look no further for your helicopter adventures on the big island. Mark was very friendly and informative. He even showed us a pod of dolphins! He adjusted the tour for our interests and had an in depth knowledge of the islands geography, history, popular culture, and daily life. We felt safe and had a blast! Thank you Blue Hawaiian Helicopters
This helicopter tour was absolutely the highlight of our Hawaiian vacation the trip was fabulous the pilot was excellent and showing us all the waterfalls and explaining where we were what we were doing. he even showed us a 360° rainbow! Don’t miss this helicopter tour of Kaui, absolutely the best way to see this fabulous island
We had a enjoyable experience flying with Blue Hawaiian. I had posted an earlier review and after further research and consideration, I decided to increase my rating to full marks.Their pre-flight safety briefing was very informative. They load the helicopter with military-like precision. Our pilot was ex-military and very friendly. We took this tour notwithstanding that a helicopter crash occurred earlier in the week with another helicopter tour company. This company exceeded our expectations in terms of attention to detail and emphasis on safety. We had a slight delay on our tour due to a malfunctioning headset. It was resolved fairly quickly. My only wish was that we could’ve flown a little closer to some of the sites as we saw several other helicopters flying below us.

Gorgeous ride!!! My family and I did the Hana/Eastern Maui tour ride and loved it. The helicopters are not open door, which was fine by me. For photo taking maybe that's not the best but you can purchase a video of your entire trip (with the pilot's commentary) afterward if you want. Our pilot, Ken, was knowledgeable and gave us a smooth ride. A wonderful experience!!
