We took a ride early in our trip so we could learn a little about the island and the lay of the land. Glad we did this at the front end and we had great weather. Pilot was friendly and knowledge.

Best way to see the dramatic NaPali Coast and definitely a unique look at Waimea Valley. Our pilot and tour guide Beth was very enthusiastic and engaged throughout our flight. She offered recommendations of places to visit and hike during the flight. It was my first time in a chopper but the ride was very smooth with some bobbles in the wind in rain. There is safety brief before and the workers buckle you in, so you don't have to remember how to do anything just remember your seat number. Please note when they advise to wear dark colors they should actually say wear long-sleeved dark shirt because wearing a black tank top and exposed pale arms can also cause photo-ruining reflections if seated in the front and not the back. (See photos). My recommendation to Blue Hawaii: Provide loaner long sleeve shirts for such customers. Pro tip: Ask for military discount, if applicable. Conclusion: Great company! Unforgettable tour experience of Kauai!

You go round the western half of the island on the helicopter. A lot of the sights the tour covers are only accessible by helicopters. The pilot was very knowledgeable and friendly, and the ride was pretty smooth overall. Highly recommend.

So much fun! We were very nervous but once we got on the helicopter it was fine. I believe our tour guide was Tony and he was so relaxed you couldn’t but relax too. It was rainy and cloudy when we went but still had good views and he made sure everyone had a chance to see the waterfalls and coast.

My husband, adult daughter and I greatly enjoyed our recent Blue Hawaiian helicopter tour of the island. Our pilot Mark was very informative along the way about the island and it’s history and also is a highly skilled pilot. The staff were all very helpful and professional. We highly recommend doing this helicopter tour with Blue Hawaiian to see all of Kauai. It truly was the highlight of our time in Kauai. Cathy P. Maine

Best way to see Kauai. Views over Waimea Canyon and Na Pali coast and simply stunning. Helicopter flight was best part of our Hawaii trip. You will not be disappointed. You see entire Island and parts you would never see if not from the skies.

The Blue Hawaiian helicopter tour was our trip highlight! Definitely recommend starting the trip this way. The company was professional and the helicopters were very nice and well maintained. Our pilot Joffrey was skilled as it gets and filled with local knowledge. Despite the cloudy rainy day, we found incredible views all over the island. Wear dark colors so you don’t get reflections in your pics. My heart was overjoyed by the unforgettable experience! I can’t wait to do it again.

When in Kauai, you have to do the helicopter tour. It is amazing!!! We landed in Kauai and I kept the next day free, but the weather was nice and it was expected to rain the next day, so I rescheduled our Blue Hawaiian tour for the first day. They had availability and it was the best way to see the island, I felt like we really didn't need to do more! I am so so so glad that we rescheduled, the next day it rained all day and there was a flood alert in the northern areas, I don't think the tour would have happened or even been fun. So if you are in Kauai and it is sunny that day, go ahead and reschedule because you never know what the weather is like the next day! The tour guide was super nice and showed us the entire island telling us about the history. Very informative. But the highlight was at the very end when we went inside the crater and it was as if the Gods had opened up the huge path with so many waterfalls intersecting, it was gorgeous. Very foggy and the tour inside the crater was just for a few seconds, we barely got a good view, but we were lucky to go at all since some tours came away without visiting. It was raining a bit but we didn't run into any issues. The tour seemed a bit long though, by 30-40 minutes w were ready to be done but were happy to visit the crater. My 5 year olds were a bit scared and one fell asleep from jet lag but they were such troopers! Very professional company, ran on time, and I highly recommend them.

We chose Blue Hawaiian Helicopters based on reviews and recommendations. Our pilot Tony delivered an excellent tour with descriptions and histories (including local lore) to enrich the experience. Flying into the open side of a shield volcano was absolutely cool. We were fortunate to catch a flight on a day when it was not raining as much.

We went on this helicopter ride on our first day in Kauai. It was a great way to learn a lot about the island, history, and geology and helped us hone in on some places we wanted to visit on land. Our pilot, Beth, was great - knowledgeable, friendly, and all of us really comfortable on the ride. It was number one on the list of all of the things we did on Kauai and that's saying a lot because the whole trip was amazing. Highly recommend.

My spouse and I recently took the one-hour helicopter tour on Kauai. It was my first-ever ride in a helicopter so I was somewhat apprehensive. Once we got going, my fear dissipated as I took in the amazing sights of this beautiful island. Our pilot, Paul, was friendly and informative. Although this is a pricey adventure, I highly recommend it as perhaps a once-in-a-lifetime experience. You see things that you would never be able to access from either land or water. Wow!

After our fantastic helicopter tour experience on the Big Island, we were really looking forward to the Kauai tour (Kauai Eco Adventure). We were SO disappointed. Our pilot was ok. The tour itself was just so underwhelming. The pilot rarely circled back to allow both sides of the helicopter to see a site, he didn’t bring us even remotely close to anything… it just felt like he was rushing to get us back as quickly as possible, and circling an area or flying in closer would take away time. And I’m really not sure where their times come from (even our confirmation said 50-55 minutes flying time) – they are *not* adhering to that. We were driving away 50 minutes after our tour started, and that was factoring in getting off the flight, photos, getting a drink, and using the restrooms. I read other reviews about the flying time after booking. I now realize how right those reviews were. We probably wouldn't be overly likely to book another helicopter tour on a future visit, but after chatting with others, if we were to, it would absolutely be with another company who seems to have better word-of-mouth feedback.

I was a little hesitant about taking a helicopter tour, but it was such a smooth ride and now I can't wait to go again!! What a great way to see Kauai! Our pilot, Brian, was great! You get to see so many beautiful aspects of Kauai that you wouldn't be able to by land. We were able to get so close to viewpoints & Brian ensured that everyone in the helicopter had a view. It's pricey, but worth it! You should wear dark clothes so there's less reflection when taking pictures. At the end of the trip you can get your picture taken in front of the helicopter & buy a usb video of your trip for around $40 (FYI they start the video recording the second you are in the helicopter and they switch between views of the trip & inside the helicopter)

Blue Hawaiian is a wonderful helicopter tour company. They are incredibly organized and professional. I felt very safe with our pilot who was a pilot in the armed forces and served two tours. What amazing views of the Napali Coast, the lush greens of the valley really stand out from up above. Definitely worth it! Thank you, Blue Hawaiian!!
