Had the best time on the chopper! Took the doors off flight and it was worth every penny. The view from the chopper was amazing and we practically saw the entire Island of Oahu in 45 minutes. Could see turtle and saw a whale breach the water, was truly amazing. They picked us up from our hotel and was all uphill from there. Make sure you make the time to get on board and take an amazing ride. Basically everyone has said the same things on this site so you know it's good!

We opted for the doors off experience, and had a great 50 minutes over Honolulu, Waikiki, windward Oahu, and the north shore, and Pearl Harbor on the way back. The chopper was small and somewhat windy at the rear seat, but the absence of doors provided exceptional visibility - plus zero reflections when taking photos. Leave your hat at home, no loose sunglasses, and remember to have hand straps on any cameras you may bring. If you drop it, it's lost forever! Highly recommended.

This was our first time ever taking a helicopter ride. It was beautiful and the most fun my wife and I have ever had. Jim, our pilot was phenomenal! He was funny, informative and great at making us feel at ease. We will be doing this again.

This trip was recommended to us before arriving in Hawaii as a must do and it absolutely was spot on. We were really lucky to do this trip on our first day with Jim and it was amazing. Jim was excellent with both his skill in providing a comfortable flight, and also with his great commentary and a sense of humour that was most definitely appreciated by us (Kiwis). We completed other sightseeing activities on the island but nothing came close to this. It is definitely worth the money and gives you absolutely best view of O'ahu. Can't say anything more other than make sure you take this trip.

I would like to say that this company understands customer service at it's best. I had several communications with them before our trip and their responses were always immediate and thorough. Our pilot Jim was fantastic. Accommodating, knowledgeable etc. Everything you'd expect. Excellent experience and service.

We just got back from our dream vacation in Hawaii. We had been told the helicopter tour was the highlight of our friends trip. I was a bit nervous about taking the tour but my husband wanted to do it. After taking off i found I did not have to be nervous and the half hour trip was not long enough. Our pilot Jim was great in showing us the scenes from the air. Great tour, thank you.

We were in the black 7 person(including the pilot) closed door helicopter and it was really good. There was room for 2 people up front and 4 people in back , the people up front and 2 people by the windows in back had an advantage over the 2 middle people in the back. It was still an amazing experience but I would think about doing the open door tour which takes less people maybe giving everybody the better viewing.

Our pilot was Jim and he was fantastic! He looks and sounds just like Kevin Klein (the actor). Great personality and his knowledge of the Island was impressive. It came so natural to Jim and made my wife and I feel really comfortable. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. It is well worth the price

La minivan paso a buscarnos 33 minutos tarde, el video de inducción y seguridad no funciono, no hubo una intervención del personal a cargo, el video durante el vuelo se malogro. Logística calificada con un bajo nivel. El vuelo, poco mas que fuera de serie y el piloto muy amable y mejor guía turistico.

1時間のツアーで乗ったのでオアフ島を、すべて上から見ることができました。 ワイキキやダイヤモンドヘッドなどの名所は、回ってくれて左右どちらの席に座ってても見れるようにしてくれててよかったです。 説明も日本語で分かりやすくて、知らなかったこともたくさんありました。 あと、全然揺れもせず、 とてもヘリコプターに乗ってるという感じもなく恐怖は感じませんでした。 とにかく最高な一時間でした！ また次行くときもお願いします！ あと、一つワガママを言わせてもらうと、送迎バスの中で流れる注意の映像の日本語ver.があるとうれしいです。

We had an awesome flight, it's the best way to see the island. Do the flight at the beginning it will helps with your plans for the rest of your holiday! We had the real Magnum PI as our pilot, he was awesome!!! Thank you very much.

Jim the pilot was very knowledgeable. He kept us informed of everything that was happening with the helicopter and points of interest. It was a really great ride and we would recommend this tour to ours.

We did a bit of research and decided to go with Makani Kai Helicopters as it was more affordable and they had last minute availability. We also got a free hotel pick up, which was great, as we didn't have a car to get there. Our pilot was Richard, and we did the 30 minute flight. It was breathtaking and I would definitely recommend it to everyone. I felt very safe and the whole experience was very professional. 30 minutes goes very quickly, so in hindsight, I wish I had gone a bit longer but overall still worth it. We paid a little extra to have seats at the front of the helicopter - I highly recommend this. The views were spectacular!!

My son talked us into doing it as he wanted to go, and I'm glad he did. There were five people booked for the flight but the other two were a no show so we had the pilot and helicopter to ourselves, window seats for all. Morley our pilot was along time resident of the island and had the history and knowledge of those years. We were staying at Ko Olina Kia were we met the helicopter at 0830 Saturday. We went in an anti clock direction heading out over Pearl Harbour and onwards to Waikiki, circumnavigating the Island till we arrived back at the west coast some 60 minutes later. With Morley at the controls we felt very safe. Even though the cloud cover was a bit low Morley made sure we saw as much as he could show us, over ridges and down the valleys, checking out film locations and all the history sites this island had to offer. A great way to see Oahu, I'm glad my son talked me into it.

First time ever in a helicopter, Jim (Magnum) made my family and I comfortable and at ease, telling us what he was going to do before he did it so I won't get scared and swear. I trusted him completely! His sense of humor and knowledge made it an awesome trip. Would definitely go high up with him again.
