地上からキラウエアの火口を見たり、チェーン・オブ・クレーターズ・ロードを走って観光した後に、近くのヒロ国際空港からヘリコプターにのって同じ火山地域を巡るツアーに参加しました。地上からは近すぎて全貌が見えないすり鉢状のクレーターやカルデラを見られて興奮しました。特に、キラウエアの火口では赤っぽい岩が見えて、昼間でも活火山が実感できました。一人400ドル以上しますが、それなりの価値あるツアーでした。
The overall experience was amazing!! Our pilot, Marcus was super great & very knowledgeable. The whole crew were very friendly!!
The helicopter tour was an experience cf a lifetime. The island view from above was absolutely breathtaking. I would hands down recommend this tour.
Safe operations Great customer service. Good pilot provides lot of local information throughout the tour. I am looking forward to take tours on other islands. Helicopters are Airbus EcoStar and they are comfortable.
Being able to see the waterfalls and getting up close in between the mountains was amazing!! The views of the coast were breathtaking!! Our guide (mark) was great! Funny and very knowledgeable of the history and land we were flying over!
What a ride and view! Simply amazing. They made everything easy. Our pilot John was great, giving us highlights and background of different sites that he flew over.
Great experience as second time using this company. Only disappointment was on did a flight over the volcano area and did not go into the rain forest/valleys as advertised for this particular flight. Very professional
Captain Wesley gave my family an experience to remember! he was fun, informative, and ensured all on board were able to see each sight. We saw active lava, volcanoes, lava flow, and heard all about the history of each flow. Wesley answered all questions and even took requests on the music to accompany our explorations. We had a safe and easy take off and landing, my 9 & 10 year old sons were nervous (almost refusing to go) and during the trip they were all smiles - afterward they said they would go again!
the whole tour was amazing from the briefing to the landing. Marcus the pilot knows the island and we missed nothing always positioning the helicopter so every one could get the best view we highly recommend them as the best way to see the Island as so much is only visible from the air
Excellent, calm, and knowledgeable pilot and staff was very concerned with safety first. You will see things you could not possibly see any other way, including extremely beautiful valleys and waterfalls. Totally worth it.
We can’t even begin to tell you the scenery we saw! It’s unlike anything else. Views you can only see from a helicopter. The only downfall was motion sickness. Going over ridges you hit some crosswinds. If you’re not privy to motion sickness, you will be fine! I would do it again and again. It’s absolutely stunning.
We were on Blue Skyies of Oahu helicopter tour which was led by Benjamin. To start of with, we had a pre flight safety briefing which was very informative. It was my first time on the helicopter and it was very assuring and comfotable. Benjamin made sure that everyone was alright. He is knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you Benjamin for this amazing experience. 👏

We had an AMAZING tour of the Kohala area, including the coast and multiple valleys with the most unbelievable foliage, cascading waterfalls, and cliffs dropping in to valley floors and the ocean. Koji was such a great pilot and guide, making all four of us comfortable, expertly getting us in to a variety of terrain and viewing positions, and landing us next to a 700+ foot waterfall that dropped in to a pool we could walk up and touch. The landscape variety was so interesting and Koji also shared some history and explanations of everything we were looking at. Add to that the super friendly and professional base area staff and our experience couldn't have been any better. We would do this again for sure, and probably take one of the longer tours next time (this one was an hour or so, including the waterfall landing). We also purchased the video of our tour and were glad we did, as there is SO much to see that it's hard to take it all in at once and goes by in a hurry. We're glad to have a video that we can relive the experience with and do so at our own pace and as often as we like. Overall, absolutely a first rate experience and a first class operation! Well done Blue Hawaiian, you were definitely one of our highlights during our first visit to the big island.
Several years ago my parents did Blue Hawaiian and told me when I go to Hawaii-any of the islands Blue Hawaiian Helicopter Tours is a MUST DO. Mom's words was you always hear term breath taking and is exactly as I would describe. Mom's always know best. My husband and I did this on Kauai several years ago and this September we booked it again on the island of Oahu and we paid the extra money to sit up front with the pilot. Well worth the extra money. Views were simply breath taking and my favorite tour of the island. I'm convinced no tour can compete with this one.! Benjamin was an awesome pilot. I didn't even want to waste my time taking pictures I just simply wanted to enjoy the view. Can't say enough good things about this Blue Hawaiian Helicopter tour.
