Second time doing this ride and it was awesome again!
Stephen was awesome! We had a blast!
By far the best thing ever!!!! Would absolutely recommend paying for this! I know it’s a lot but amazing!!
For a first timer…,I thought it was awesome! Thank you so much 💕
Amazing! Mark was a wonderful pilot and tour guide . Highly recommend ! Worth every penny!
Our flight with Blue Hawaiian was fantastic! Our pilot, Mark, was great and did a fabulous tour. Highly recommended for anyone wanting an amazing view of this beautiful island!!
Amazing magic carpet ride. Mark was an outstanding pilot
An incredible way to see the island - would highly recommend to anybody!
There aren’t words to describe this experience. Worth every penny we paid. Greg, our pilot, took us through the island and was informative without being overly talkative. The landscape speaks for itself. I could have done without the music during the flight, that’s just a personal preference that I never thought to ask the pilot about because I was focused on the views. For The smooth flight over the Kilauea caldera, the chain of craters, and the valley took skill, and Greg is a world class pilot in my book for such a smooth ride with all the tilts and meanderings. We were like a firefly hovering so close to the edge of the Waimanu Valley, and we were perfectly safe.
These guys run a first-class operation. Top notch pilots. Professional team. Everyone friendly and with a great attitude!
Such a great experience! My oldest who usually gives us a "meh" to everything got off and says, "that was awesome!" Barrett was our pilot and was great! We bought our photos and video to enjoy again. The pictures and video doesn't do it justice though. The colors and experience are a must see.
Amazing experience. A huge thank you to our pilot and ground crew for providing a great tour from start to finish. 5 star in all regards.
What makes for a truly memorable and breathtaking helicopter tour of the Big Island? Just ask our pilot Greg. It was his masterful flying and communication that made this by far the best heli tour ever (and I’ve been on quite a few). As a Professor of Educational Psychology, I know a few things about how to engage learners Pilot Greg deserves an honorary PhD in Education. He was explicit about the rules with clearly-stated explanations about what was required, why, and how to use the various safety equipment. As we flew over the still simmering and smoldering volcano, he explained with pinpoint accuracy the history of the volcanic activity on the island, the series of recent volcanic events, and the current status of Mauna Kea. We saw the earth evolve with lava! Greg punctuated the learning with chatting with the passengers. Myself, my friend from London, and two lovely nurse anesthetists from New Orleans. He fostered a true sense of group esprit de corps and we all found ourselves is perfect harmony. The lively conversations never deterred from the sightseeing. Greg knew where to find whales and dolphins. When he spotted a boat on the northern side of the island, he explained that this was a sure indicator of unusually calm seas. Eventually we landed in front of a very steep and majestic waterfall. As we walked about the small grassy/rocky area, the comradery was even more wonderful. Greg shared a bit about his family and the four passengers spoke about familiar themes that engaged the whole group. We took group shots and Greg shot a selfie of all of us. Was the 2+ hour flight expensive? Absolutely. But it was replete with wonderful memories and new friendships. Make this investment in a lifetime memory.

AMAZING! Wes our pilot was fantastic. This experience was one of the best of my life. The volcano, the valleys and waterfalls, even whales along the coast, all made my vacation! Mahalo!
