It was a great trip to see the most recent lava flow here on The Big Island...well worth the time and effort. Blue Hawaiian was a wonderful company with whom to work. They were helpful, informative and fun!
We were celebrating out 25th anniversary and Blue Hawaii helic optor's Nate (pilot) gave us an unforgettable experience. 25 years ago, we were marriend in the Fern Grotto and it was special to see the area from overhead. The music was always appropriate like after the rainbows we saw to see more beauty and hear Brdda Iz's "Its a wonderful life". Nate was a safe pilot, personable and shared the island and the hawaiian history beautifully. We will tell our friends and family to come to Blue Hawaiian Helicoptors. Was very well done and Roger was great!! He had no probs involving our 12 year old son in the tour.
We really enjoyed the tour. It was awesome experience since we could see part of the island which we would have never seen before. chopper was quiet, and comfortable. Will recommend this to any one visiting Hawaii.
From a Midwest point of view where the land is so flat, we possibly had a chance to view a piece of heaven. Our pilot was gracious and informative.
