If you're going to spend the money for one big Hawaiian adventure this is the one. Forget the whale watching and spend a little more of your hard earned cash on a real vacation treat. Experience waterfalls like never before, catch your breath as the world drops out below you and see the beautiful Hawaiian vistas stretch out below you.

Blue Hawaiian did an amazing job, from start to finish. The facility is clean and organized, the staff was helpful, and the tour was indescribably beautiful. The helicopters are very clean and comfortable, and our pilot, Geoff, was informative and a lot of fun. When you book, ask to sit up front. If you are not able to, request to sit on the "passenger" side in the back--better views. Another reason to sit up front: they film the excursion, so you'll be on camera more, which makes for a fun souvenir if you choose to purchase the DVD. The cameras switch between scenery and the passengers, so you get a mix of your own jaw-dropping expressions along with the views. We did get slightly nauseous, which sounds pretty common, so I would suggest holding off on a big meal until after the flight. Ginger ale or your choice of nausea aids are probably a good idea to have prior to/on hand. I have a tendency to be cold, but was glad I didn't have too many layers on for the ride. I was told being warm is what brings on the nausea, so err on the side of being cooler--its a very comfortable temperature in the air. Plan for about 3 hours--you have a training video, a wait for your helicopter, the hour in the air, and then a wait for your video if you want it. Absolutely go! It was fabulous!

This very well run helicopter tour company gives you a great experience. Every phase of the process is handled well from the discreet weigh in, safety instruction and photo ops after the tour. We flew with Marty and we truly enjoyed his narration and interaction with the passengers. The weather conditions were not ideal but it barely mattered. This was a memorable experience. GO!

Breath taking views!!! Brody was an awesome tour guide. A wonderful way to see the island. Would definitely do it again!

It certainly isn't a cheap activity. The money, however, is well spent. How many time to you get the opportunity to view an island from the air. The views of Na Pali coast were my favorite.

Of the several helicopter tour outfits in Kauai, this one came highly recommended. They use the Eco-Star helicopter which is a modern single turbine model with ample seating, great viewing and air conditioning. The staffing and professional pilots are all first rate. You get to see the entire island and get an educational narrative by the pilot as you fly like a bird to otherwise totally inaccessible areas. They also record your entire trip and offer it for sale at the conclusion of your flight for around $40. The total trip time was just under 1hr. The weather the morning we flew was perfect! Couldn't be better!

Talk about professional and personal. This is a company that made sure all the bases were covered. Miguel was a great pilot with a great personality that included everyone. I suggest the video of your flight. The views are incredible, words can't describe the feeling in your soul. Pictures are not even close to the depth of the mountains, waterfalls, and waters edge. My fiancé and I toured Kauai this week on Blue Hawaiian. Fantastic tour. Very professional and comprehensive. This was my fiancé's first helicopter and she felt very safe. I highly recommend.

An excellent way to see the most beautiful sites that Kauai has to offer. The whole experience is well run and very organized. After a very thourough safety briefing and boarding the helicopter we were in the air about 55 minutes. The ride was smooth and our pilot Miguel, gave a terrific narration of what we were seeing. Another bonus is that you are able to ask questions throughout the flight.

I was so anxious about booking a helicopter flight. I was stressed about it all morning, but WOW.... What an amazing experience. I was seated at the front, which I thought was the worst thing, but I loved it. Our pilot Jennifer was wonderful. She was very calming & very informative. I particularly liked how she spoke to us each individually. The only time I had to hold on was when we turned....haha It was AWESOME and I would highly recommend a flight. Thanks Jen ?

Pilot Scott was phenomenal. Took really excellent video with the many cameras as well as made sure that all sides of the helicopter guests were getting their pictures during the flight. The office too was well run and made sure those not in dark clothes got covered so it didn't ruin others' photos with their reflections. A MUST DO item for Kauai!

Theres no other word for this tour. Snaking your way through Waimea canyon to the Na Pali cliffs, then crossing Hanalei Bay on the way to Mt. Waialeale, all while hearing from a courteous, professional pilot who is passionate about his island was nothing short of jaw dropping spectacular. The experience of a lifetime.

Excellent experience with Blue Hawaiian in Kauai. There are many helicopter tour companies but this is a first class business. Facilities are excellent-bathrooms, coffee/water, waiting area, lockers, air conditioning. We took a 9 month old on the trip and the staff was very accommodating to get him setup with all the right safety gear. Our booking had an error and we had to take a later flight (one hour) and the staff offered us a free USB video of our journey and a tshirt for the baby. Very accommodating, we loved this tour!

Once upon a time I dreamed a most beautiful dream...and I wasn't dreaming! With the utmost care for everyone's safety, the Blue Hawaiian team provided this awe inspiring one hour flight. My husband and I were very impressed with the friendly and knowledgeable people on this companies team. I highly recommend no less than a 45 minute journey. Go with a company that takes weather conditions into account and get the bottom line on cancellation policy. We lucked out with beautiful weather though. Be thinking of any questions you might want to ask as they do their best to answer you. Our pilot was very personable but did not hesitate to cordially put conversation on the back burner to concentrate on the job of flopping safely! You are seated according to weight to balance out the craft. My husband was put in one of the middle back seats and still his view was great. A music track played in the background which enhanced the experience. The scenery truly speaks for itself though. I readily admit to a tear or two.

We took the Blue Hawaiian helicopter tour of Kauai, and it was great! Our pilot, Scott, gave us an extremely interesting flight and narration. We were able to see all the major scenic sights on the flight. All aspects of our dealings with Blue Hawaii were handled professionally and efficiently. All members of our family agreed that this was the highlight of our week in Kauai.
