There's only so much you can see of Kauai from the ground, the rest can only be seen from the air. The tour we took was simply jaw dropping. Our pilot, Mark, was very knowledgable and a great tour guide. It's unbelievable all the places he flew us to and made sure we got the best angles for pictures. There is a camera on board, as well as underneath, so when you arrive back, you can purchase your trip and see everything that you saw in the air. It's definitely worth the price. It was one of the most amazing experiences and would highly recommend it.

One word to describe this unbelievable journey would be, epic! Our pilot was phenomenal, Brody. Super knowledgeable about the sights and island history. His words really made you feel the love from the island. You will see things that no one else has seen, this is the ultimate was to see Kaua'i! Customer service was great as well! Mahalo to the Blue Hawaiian staff and Brody!

Took the 1 hour tour over Kauai and it was way above expectations. My husband and I were chosen to sit right up front with the pilot and had some amazing views of the island. They play music in your headphones which is a little annoying for me because I don't like a lot of music these days, but I guess its good for others as the music is pretty much instrumental and meant to induce more emotion from the experience. Sooooo many rainbows! Some were so vivid they looked solid! I really like this company because of the comfort and cleanliness of the chopper and the easy communication with the pilot. I've been on other flights in other places where you can hear what everyone is saying through your headphones, but with this company you have to use a microphone and only one mic at a time works. Communication is crystal clear via the mics. The flight was very smooth except for over the mountains. It was a rainy day and winds were high but visibility was clear. We flew over Waimea Canyon, the center of the island, our cruise ship, over the water by and in the Na Pali Coast and more! Loved every moment of it. Should last longer. Shortest hour of my life. The pilot records the whole trip: views, passengers and all conversation. You can buy it for $50 at the end of the tour. I recommend doing that. Their camera will be better than yours and you can focus on the views while in flight and not on taking pics.

Wonderful tour to take with a first class operation. We arrived on the Pride of America and were conveniently picked up right on time at the pier. This company is professional to the max; I am a little hesitant and leery when it comes to flying in small aircraft, but I was put at ease with this operation. Safety is number 1,2 and 3. Once airborne using headsets the pilot narrates what you are viewing and it is absolutely breathtaking, our pilot Geoffrey (pronounced Jof-rey) was excellent and a very nice person. I thoroughly enjoyed this trip and highly recommend it. Personally I can easily suggest paying the slightly more money to the comfort and professionalism of this operation, it is definitely worth it. First class operation.

This was a must do in Kauai. Best way to see the island and well worth the money. Our pilot Brad did an outstanding job. Best thing we did while in Kauai!!!!

My husband and I were reluctant to shell out the almost $500 for the two of us to do a helicopter tour, but we were talked into it by some other couples we met at our resort and we are SO glad we did it! It was absolutely breathtaking. I'm pretty sure my jaw was dropped the entire flight. I felt very safe and the pilot was friendly and informative. We got the best seats (in the front) because I am tiny and they assign seats based on weight. I did feel kinda bad for the people who got the back seats because there is no way their view was as good. The pilot films the flight for you and you have the option to purchase when you are done. It was $40 for a video of your flight and they give it to you on a USB stick. Can't say enough about this experience. Save your pennies and book this tour!

This was a once in a lifetime experience. Beauty beyond comprehension ranging from active volcanos to waterfalls. If you have any trouble with motion sickness then I would recommend taking medication for it prior to the flight. Pilots are outstanding. Definitely a must do on the big island.

This tour is awesome! Lauren was our pilot and he did a great job with entertaining us and providing great facts. It's a view that you have to experience and you get to see the beauty of the island. Worth the cost and put this on the top of your list if you are on a budget.

We did a 2.5 hour tour of the island and this was truly a trip of a lifetime! We saw lava hotspots, whales cavorting offshore, circular rainbows, and spectacular waterfalls. The pilot was fantastic--friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and keen to share his love of the island with us.

Can't say enough good things about Blue Hawaiian. Spend the money and go. The views are spectacular and the pilots are outstanding. There are other tour helicopter outfits there, but a a glance, you will be glad you chose Blue Hawaiian. Professional. Jurassic Park filmed here. No need to say more! It was certainly the highlight of our trip.

Beautiful flight over Kauai. Our pilot Miguel was great. Safe flight over Waimea Canyon over waterfalls, and into ancient volcano crater. Great way to see Kauai.

They push the Eco star which seat 6 meaning 3 don't have a window. A window is basically required for photos. Take the 4 passenger bird. Do as much weather checking as you can. Flights get canceled and the weather is unpredictable. On some tours the route out and back are different which means you have a different experience depending on which side your on. I did the Big Island Spectacular Tour with Richard and it was AMAZING! The eco-star was a smooth ride and even the person in our group who was afraid of flying had a great time. We saw eucalyptus forests and whales swimming in the ocean and the Kilauea volcanic cone and trees on fire from the burning lava flow. We went into valleys that aren't accessible accept by helicopter. Richard was funny and informative and gave us the ride of our lives. Highly recommended!

We had very little time on the Big Island and wanted to see as much as possible and the helicopter tour was the answer. Our pilot Toshi did a fantastic job educating us on the island and he went out of his way to ensure we had a memorable experience. A must do when in Hawaii. You will see things you cannot see any other way!

All I can say is wow! Seeing Kauai by air is beautiful and simply amazing. It was the highlight of our trip! We found Blue Hawaiian to be great to fly with. Due to a change of plans we had to change the day of our flight at the last minute. They happily accommodated us. Our pilot Scott was friendly and showed us the beauty of Kauai.
