We took the big island spectacular trip and it was really fun. We got to fly over the active lava flow and then land at a 1200ft waterfall! The waterfall landing was definitely the highlight of the flight! Our pilot, Dale, was very informative and entertaining! He also is an excellent pilot and made us feel very safe and taken care of! The trip has this ongoing soundtrack in the headphones too, it was pretty neat and added ambiance to the experience.

To any one wants to see Hawaii from a different point of view, a helicopter ride is the way to go. Blue Hawaiian Helicopters is by far the best ride for the buck. They are safety oriented and professional. Our pilot Julie was knowledgeable of O'ahu and an amazing helicopter pilot. She made very on feel comfortable, and took us on an amazing ride. We recommending by the USB drive video file of the flight. It's a good deal and you can then share the experience with everyone. Thanks to Blue Hawaiian Helicopters and especially Julie for showing us an unforgettable view of O'ahu.

We had done a Blue Hawaiian tour on the Big Island and were disappointed (see review). This is the same company with the same high quality everything - staff, safety, organization, aircraft, pilots. Everything was first rate. This time the ride was amazing. Waterfalls; steep green valleys; close up approaches to the craggy canyon sides; variety of scenery; whales; the wettest place on earth plus "da plane, da plane" twin waterfalls. I highly recommend the Eco-tour helicopter ride that lasts about 50 minutes. Blue Hawaiian - you redeemed yourselves here in Kaua'i. Outstanding and memorable.

This was my third time with Blue Hawaiian. Only the best will do and they definitely deliver! Thank you for a great trip to the volcanoes and island your! Definitely recommend the two hour tour from Waikoloa!

Our family of seven - 2 parents, 2 grandparents and 3 kids (ages 7, 10, and 13) had a wonderful time aboard Blue Hawaiin's new Echo Star helicopter on the Big Island Spectacular trip. Tom, our captain, was an amazing pilot and incredibly knowledgeable about the island, volcanos, and waterfalls that we saw along the way. Tom has been with Blue Hawaiian for over 20 years. We were lucky enough to see lava and a small lava flow during the trip, many waterfalls, the gorgeous coastline along the way. We did miss the massive lava flow from Kilauea that erupted just a few days after our trip. We purchased the DVD of our tour and it was terrific. Pictures from the flight that we took we equally as impressive. This was an amazing highlight of our trip and not to be missed.

Interesting trip, informative pilot.This is not an inexpensive activity, but for a once in a lifetime experience, worth it.

The ride was over the lava fields as well as the active crater. The pilot was great about answering all our questions as well as giving history of the area. Got some great pictures. At the end you are able to buy the video of the flight you took which includes everything that was discussed in flight.

We booked the 45 minute flight around Oahu and when I booked online I asked for the front seats if possible and was so lucky to get them. Our pilot Greg provided good fun commentary and the scenery was fantastic, especially around the mountains and over the Diamond Head. We had such a great time we booked another flight for Kauai for a couple of days later after our cruise ship departed and this was the first stop, sadly weather did not permit us to dock and the company sent us an email to advise they had cancelled this for us. When we go back to Hawaii we will definitely do another flight with the company.

The most inspirational, awesome, amazing, enthralling, educational, magical, ....cant come up with sufficient or enough adjectives to express how much my family and I enjoyed this trip. We did the tour over Waimea Canyon and the jaw droppingly stunning Napali coastline on the Island of Kauai. WOW. After talking to other tourists who did trips over the Volcanic national park on the Big Island, or over Oahu, this is the one to choose. Our pilot Brodie was a local, well informed and a great host, their aircraft are new, large and very well kept. There did seem to be alot of other smaller companies using much older and very small helicopters, which did not present as professional. Be prepared to be amazed.

A simply amazing morning flight! I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Oahu! I loved every minute of my very first helicopter ride! Thanks, pilot Shane!

The trip was fabulous and our four person party thought it was beyond expectations! Blue Hawaiian is the only helicopter company with a professional building with restrooms. You watch a safety video before the flight. All copters have flotation devices which I didn't see on all the others. Our pilot was very professional and interesting. So worth every penny. My 78 year old mother said it was a highlight of her life.

This was pricey but we would do it again! Shay was our pilot and he was very good. He took interest in each rider, was safe and knowledgable about everything. We absolutely loved this experience. Of all the helicopter companies THIS is the one to choose!!

This is so worth it! The entire team there was great!! Our pilot, Miguel, was awesome - lots of flying time and knew so much about the island & its history. Extra thanks for the time over the water to do a bit of whale watching.

We did the 7:00 am two hour flight on 7/21/2016. Our pilot was Jason and he did an excellent job. We felt safe the entire time and saw so much beautiful scenery. A great opportunity to see the volcano with lava flowing if you don't want to hike it.

We had the best time on Blue Hawaiian Helicopters on the Big Island. Everything was organised very professionally, and our pilot Marco was fantastic!! I could not recommend this trip enough! We saw lava and the volcano steaming, and we also saw some lovely waterfalls, including one of Marco's secret favourites. We were on the cruise ship, and he even took us out to fly over the ship which was fantastic. Perfect for families or couples. I would recommend the Eco-Star helicopter as it has more viewing room.
