Amazing way to tour the beautiful island of Kauai.  You cover the entire island including the Na Pali coast and Waimea Canyon, both of which are gorgeous.  Captain Barrett provided excellent narration during the flight and had a great sense of humor to boot.  A little on the expensive side so definitely book in advance online to save a few dollars.  Well worth it!

Our experience was nothing short of amazing. Our pilot, Scott, was professional and informative. He informed us on everything that we were seeing, and he even cracked a few jokes as well. Also, he could answer every question we threw at him. I was a little apprehensive about the flight and safety, but Scott (and the entire team) informed us about the entire process. We did encounter a little turbulence, but Scott forewarned us about bumpy spots within the canyon. He said it was perfectly normal and safe. There was never a time along the tour where I felt unsafe. The views were AMAZING and worth every penny. I got a front row seat, but even my parents (sitting in the back) could see everything. Scott would circle around all major viewpoints to ensure that both sides could see everything. I would highly recommend doing one of the last tours of the day. You feel less rushed to get in and out of the helicopter, and they spend more time taking pictures with you at the end. Also, you just can't beat the golden afternoon sunlight. I cannot say that I had any negative experience with this company, and I'm glad I took it. Looking at the other companies/helicopters in the area, I believe I made the right choice. The helicopters were nicer/roomier and the windows were bigger. They were also the only company with a building on the premises.

Our tour with Blue Hawaiian Helicopters was one of the most memorable and beautiful experiences from our honeymoon! First off, I know this tour is on the pricey side - I was skeptical myself.  However, I now am confident to say the price is worth every penny!!   The beginning process of watching the safety video and having the workers give details on instructions was very smooth and clear.  We were very lucky in getting the front two seats on the copter!  I can't speak for the people who were behind us, but our view was AMAZING.  We got countless perfect shots of the beautiful views.  We also loved the music playing along with the tour - it really brought everything together.  Our pilot (Barrett) was also amazing.  He gave us so much information, took his time to get to know the passengers, and really gave us ease right from the start. It's hard to put into words how priceless this experience was.  All I can say is, it was absolutely worth it and we would recommend this to everyone.  This experience really opened up our minds to what a beautiful world we live in and surprised us of how wonderful one tour could be.  We can't thank you enough, Blue Hawaiian Helicopters and Pilot Barrett!!!

Terrific company! The flight tour is slightly cheaper (if you book in advance online) than other companies. Our tour guide/pilot, Brody, was the best. He had a soothing radio voice and knew a LOT about every part of the tour. He made an effort in getting to know us and was just super friendly. You probably can't request a pilot but I would still recommend him! There are complimentary lockers inside for you to store your stuff in since you can pretty much only bring sunglasses and a small phone/camera. 50-55 minutes may seem short but it does get hot in the helicopter and you may get motion sickness so it's really the perfect amount of time.

This was one of the best experiences of my life! Blue Hawaiian Helicopters made the already amazing experience of seeing the beautiful, enchanting island of Kauai from above AN EVEN MORE AMAZING one thanks to their modern aircrafts, experienced and knowledgeable pilots and staff, and well organized business office operations. Our Pilot, Mark, not only gave us a smooth and safe ride, but he provided us with great narration and education during our tour. We were able to interact with him with microphones during the tour and loved the music as well. The video recording of our tour was a nice touch and a great souvenir to take home with us. I would definitely go with this company again and will recommend it to my friends. Aloha!

Best 250 dollars I will ever spend in my life.  This was amazing experience.  I hate flying but this is something else. For one hour you will feel like you are in a different world.  Mark was amazing. Wouldn't mind having a job like his one day. By the way, do not have breakfast before the tour.  If you get motion sickness you will get sick. Again, amazing experience. Highly recommended.

Amazing trip. Our guide, Scott, knew the island inside and out and kept our trip completely enjoyable from beginning to end. I would definitely recommend Blue Hawaiian to anyone looking to do one of the more adventurous Hawaiian excursions.

The most thrilling and amazing experience! The views are spectacular and many you can't see by land. The company is professional and weighs each person to ensure equal weight which I appreciate. It was a little difficult hearing our tour guide but mainly due to the fact that it poured rain and the helicopter was shaking and noisy due to rain. Highly recommended and I tell everyone I know to use this company. They also do a video of you in the helicopter which we were suckers and bought it.

Absolutely amazing!  This is the Caddy of helicopter rides.  Jimmy was our pilot and was a down to earth guy who made the ride all the more interesting.  He had a great knowledge of the island and the sites.  I haven't taken another helicopter ride before but couldn't imagine it gets better than this.  Lastly, the rides and seat assignments are based on weight, yes you will be weighed, so you won't have a choice as to where you sit.  I was in the back in the middle and it was still a great view.

We took the Kauai Blue Hawaiian Helicopters tour as an excursion with Norwegian's Pride of America cruise. The views, the accompanying music in the headset, and the non-intrusive descriptions by the pilot make this experience everyone should do once when on Kauai. We flew close to large waterfalls on sheer cliffs, over the bright colors of Waimea Canyon, and some breathtaking beaches. Worth every penny.

This was such an amazing life experience!  My whole family went today and while it was quite expensive, I wouldn't trade it for anything.  The views were amazing - tons of stuff you couldn't see any other way.  The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable.  You have to do this if you're on Kauai - no other more beautiful place on earth!

This tour was amazing.  45 minute tour that was worth every penny.  Our pilot gave us a very informative narrative of each of the sites we toured.  The only downside I found was the reflection of the person's leg in front of me when trying to get a snapshot here and there.  This just made me have to set the camera aside and take everything in.  No complaints here.

Great experience.  Vince, our pilot, was great.  I was sitting in the center back and the view was amazing.  Would definitely recommend and would use this again!

Awsome experience.  Great way to see the big island in 2 hours.    Pilot was very informative- info on anything island related: geography, history, technical data, snorkeling, restaurants, etc...saw more island than we could have by just driving about.

We chartered a helicopter to get a look at the active areas of the volcano.  It was quite neat getting a different perspective of the favorite locations around the island.  However, the volcano wasn't super active on the day we chartered the heli.  We saw some live magma action but nothing too dramatic.  Maybe that was a good thing :)
