We went back Jan 2017 to big island with our kids. My husband insisted only to use blue Hawaiian because of a good previous experience (17 yrs ago during our honeymoon), safety record, well maintained helicopters, awesome pilots. We didn't make a mistake, our pilot really catered to our kids - he made sure both kids (9 yo) can see clearly by circling few times, letting them asking questions, made jokes, putting an upbeat music, etc. Overall we were happy & satisfied with our decision. My kids said the helicopter ride was one of the top best experience in Hawaii.
