WONDERFUL WOULD LIKE TO GO AGAIN

As many times we've been to Kauai, this is the first time we've bitten the bullet and taken a helicopter ride. Now, I'm thinking of all I missed by NOT doing this earlier. We had a wonderful experience, and it was well worth the money. Weather is always unpredictable in the islands, and Kauai may be the toughest place to predict it. It seems that mornings are your best bet for a sunny ride. Showers often build up in the mountains around noon. We researched the various helicopter companies and chose Blue Hawaii primarily based on reviews. We were very pleased with the company and their customer service attitude. Our pilot did a great job of flying, narrating, and even operating the four onboard video cameras. Since Kauai is a relatively small island, we were able to see all of it in our one hour ride. We opted to spend the extra $40 for the video of the trip. It was well worth it. They even put music on it for the times the pilot wasn't talking. I know this is a relatively expensive experience, but you can save some money by booking your trip on the web in advance. We've decided we will do this every time we visit Kauai.
