There are not any words to describe this tour. I loved it, this was my first time to Hawaii, and I would recommend it to everyone!!!!!!

This was by far the best part of our honeymoon. The views were spectacular. The flight was so smooth. Beth was beyond AMAZING! Her narrative was so informative!! We loved every minute!! Erin and Pat

The island (from South to North, East, West, and the center/"birth place") is absolutely breathtaking...and our guide, Brody not only conveyed the beauty of the island from his deep connection and love for it...but helped us see the island from his point of view as well (with the eloquent way he described it's many facets). We would definitely do this tour again...whether we move here or come to visit again? ;)

The helicopter was an amazing experience.  John did a fabulous job teaching is all about the history of the Big Isalnd.  He got us an up close view of the active volcano.   Saw actual lava flowing onto the beach and took us to several beautiful waterfslls on the island.  The only way to see all the beautiful spots on the island up close and personal.   A definite must do

This was such a stunning and unique experience. From the get go, you know it's going to be wonderful, as the staff is all extremely professional and knowledgeable. At the counter, you discreetly step onto a rug that takes your weight (used for seat positioning), then you take a seat to wait for the safety demonstration. This is a quick video. From there, they call your name and seat number and escort you outside to wait. Everything is run so smoothly! The Helis seat 6, but we were lucky to have a cabin with only 4 guests and our awesome pilot, Captain Barrett. My husband and I had the two front seats with the captain (best viewing points). Captain Barrett kept the commentary rolling with tidbits and facts, and the soundtrack he selected for the flight was so appropriate and moving at times. Loved it! We saw so much of the island. It was truly stunning, and I felt 55 minutes was absolutely sufficient. Captain Barrett's local knowledge and skills made this trip the best. We took a boat tour of the Na Pali coast the day before, so to see it, and everything else of the island by air, was truly incredible!

My wife and I treated our four kids to the 2 hour "Big Island Spectacular" helicopter flight across the Big Island. We were picked up by the complimentary Blue Hawaiian shuttle from the lobby of our hotel precisely on time (6:05am for the 7:00am tour). After a 6 minute safety video and issuing of an inflatable life vest, we boarded our Eco-Star 7 seater helicopter. The ground crew were very professional and accommodating. Our pilot, Marco, was also extremely professional and kept everyone very comfortable throughout the flight. My wife tends to get motion sick easily, so she took a dramamine before the flight, as did all of my kids. But after the flight, my wife said she probably didn't need to have taken anything since the flight was so smooth. Also, one of my kids was a bit nervous due to a fear of heights, but he did great. Marco was extremely knowledgeable about the island and did an amazing job getting everyone on the aircraft great views of the lava and waterfalls. The flight was extremely smooth, even with a few spiral descents to get a closeup view of some of the sights. We flew from the Waikoloa heliport to the east, between Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa, on our way to see Kilauea, which has been erupting since 1983. We were extremely lucky to see active lava erupting at the crater and also at the cliff along the ocean. Following a brief refueling stop in Hilo, we flew along the coast and had a great spiral descent to see some amazing waterfalls. The transitions from the arid west side of the island to the lush rainforest, and otherworldly lava fields were truly spectacular. They even make a video recording of the flight ($40) which includes all of the pilot's description of what we are seeing and our headset communications. There are several cameras on the helicopter and the pilot switches between the cameras to show the best views (including an interior camera showing the passengers). They also play really cool music throughout the flight (e.g. James Bond music as you fly low during take-off). Be advised that you should wear dark clothing to reduce reflections off the windows when you take pictures. The reservations folks tell you this, and it is definitely true. A few of my pictures have a great image of my wife's bright red Converse sneakers. But 99% of my pictures look awesome. This is a great helicopter with excellent visibility for the passengers. Though this isn't inexpensive, it was worth every penny! I'm now able to cross a couple of things off my bucket list (flying on a helicopter and seeing an active volcano) and my kids have a memory that will last a lifetime.

Awesome. Great pilot (Greg O). Great chopper, very stable and comfortable. Great sights - we flew near the Kileaua crater and then over flowing red hot lava and the site where lava enters the sea. Later in the flight we flew up lush tropical valleys below cliff height with waterfalls half a mile that you could almost reach out and touch. Expensive but worth every cent. Highlight of a lifetime.

Wow, just wow! Imagine all the activities and sights you need to do and the time it takes to do and see all of them, and this way you get to see, take pictures from the air and have a guided tour! The staff and pilot Kristy with a K were incredible! This is definitely a must do!!

This was one of the most beautiful and spiritual experiences of our lives. Brody was a great pilot and guide. He made sure to steer the plane so that we didn't miss anything, regardless of what side of the plane we were seated on. Thank you for a wonderful flight and we will fly Blue Hawaiian again.
