Our first tour got cancelled due to the weather but they got us on the next tour the next day. Thank you so much Sarah, not only were you amazing checking in with all of us especially our nervous daughter. But the views were absolutely beautiful! And going back round to see our hotel the rainbow tower and back over diamond head which we hiked that morning was perfect. Thank you so much Blue Hawaiian for our experience I would highly recommend you! The Gunn’s!x

We had an incredible helicopter tour around Oʻahu and it was truly one of the absolute highlights of our trip! Our first two scheduled flights had to be canceled because Blue Hawaiian Helicopters wanted to make sure we had the best possible visibility, and the weather was simply too cloudy. We really appreciated that they prioritized the experience over flying in poor conditions. Rebooking was quick, easy, and completely hassle-free. On our third attempt, the weather was perfect and the flight was absolutely breathtaking. Everyone was incredibly friendly and professional. During the flight, our pilot shared lots of interesting facts about the island and even turned the helicopter several times so that everyone on board had an amazing view. We are so glad we waited for the right conditions. It was an unforgettable experience and without a doubt one of the best moments of our entire vacation. Highly recommended!

We had a short visit to Kauai and a helicopter tour was the perfect way to see the island. The views, of course were spectacular. Our pilot Amy was delightful and informative as was the woman who greeted us. The only slight negative were the many political interjections by the older gentleman who gave the safety talk. He was nice enough but pushing his politics seemed in poor taste. Overall it was a wonderful experience and we highly recommend.

Mathew is an excellent pilot and friendly guide. The operations at Blue Hawaiian is efficient and streamlined. Highly recommend this trip. The fleet of helicopters are relatively new and very well maintained. Our 2 hour ride offered crystal clear views of the craters, waterfalls and wildlife (we saw turtles and dolphins) and we even saw the crashed WWII bomber! Best money spend on the Big Island.

Firstly the customer service is faultless as was our pilot. Having been fortunate enough to have done many helicopter tours inc throughout Hawaii, the North Shore tour is a little pricey for the trip and time. That said it is a great experience.

This was an awesome adventure. Very professional, knowledgeable , friendly staff. The pilots are so trained and safe. Our pilot, James, was beyond excellent. Everyone should do these tours when in Hawaii. You see more than you do riding around.

Incredible experience with safety top priority and customer experience running a close second! This is a wonderful organization that takes pride in every aspect of the experience. To see the island from the air and places you would not otherwise be able to get to made it extra Special. Greg our pilot was professional and knowledgeable in every aspect of the experience. Don’t miss your opportunity to do this!

This tour does come with a hefty price tag so it is hard to know if it is “value” for money but I can guarantee you will love the views and flight itself - if your in a position to do it I would recommend. We had some weather issues so it was actually cancelled two days in a row and they leave it up until 15minutes prior which is the pilots call so if you have a longer stay I would recommend booking it at the start so you have afew days up your sleeve if it gets cancelled. We were 3rd time lucky and it was epic! Beautiful views, waterfalls, ocean, craters everything you see in the photos. Pilot was professional and friendly and made us feel safe. We didn’t pay for the upgrade to the front seats and ended up getting them anyway - great result but the view from the back I believe it still great. Another $300 ontop of an expensive trip adds up. We had afew clouds and was still breathtaking. Best scenic flight tour I’ve done in the world!!

This was an Awesome experience- highly suggest when in Hilo!

We had an absolute blast on the Discover Hilo tour. The whole crew involved clearly puts safety first as we were given a clear briefing and in-flight instructions. The views were out of this world, and our pilot was very knowledgeable of the area. He took us to see his favorite waterfall that is inaccessible besides via helicopter, unless you wish to go backpacking for multiple days through the thick, inhabited forests. I would recommend this flight to anyone exploring the big island.

The 50 minute tour showed us so many wonderful and beautiful places that you would never see if you didn’t take this tour. Our pilot Sarah did great as a tour guide and pilot. So much fun!

Wonderful experience! James was an awesome helicopter pilot! He was knowledgeable, a great guide, and storyteller. This tour will take you around the island to see volcanoes, remnants of lava flow, lava tubes, waterfalls, and much more.
