We had an incredible 50 minute ride! Our pilot was so knowledgeable and shared lots of info with us. He also was a great pilot - our ride was very smooth. It was not a bit scary (for those of you who might wonder if it is). I would definitely go again.

Our pilot Shane is such a gem! Sooo knowledgeable and personable! His playlist made the helicopter ride feel straight out of a movie. 🎶🚁 10/10 recommend!

We flew from Lihue Airport on September 4, 2025. That's $50 cheaper than flying from Princeville for the same service. With three people, a longer journey to Lihue can be noticeable. Things started a bit disappointing when booking at the Blue Hawaiian office. The prices on the Blue Hawaiian website aren't final prices. If you book there, even at the office, they add a 7% payment service provider fee (fare harbor). That can easily add up to $100 or more for three people. You can save that by booking flights through Expedia or Getyourguide, which offer flights at the original price without payment service provider fees. Europeans can even save an additional 2% foreign transaction fee from most credit card providers because they allow you to pay the agents in euros converted at the official exchange rate. The fare harbor fees deduct one star. The flight itself was amazing. Marshall, our pilot, flew the helicopter with great skill through ravines and over the mountains. It was incredibly beautiful. A must-do.

An Amazing tour. Truly wonderful experience with incredible sights and a truly unique point of view of Kauai. They have a modern and extremely reliable fleet of airbus helicopters, turbine powered. Very capable machines able to bring you inside canyons and ancient volcano calderas. The whole trip was “wooow” from the beginning to the end.

We flew the “Big Island Spectacular” with Shane as our pilot, and it was fantastic. Not only did we have fantastic views (obviously) - but Shane was so informative, funny, and accommodating to last minute changes in the weather/schedule. I was nervous prior to the flight (I’d never been in a helicopter) and worst case scenarios were flashing through my mind - BUT, as soon as we took off I realized how secure we actually were. Shane was open with his piloting background, and his years of experience in different environments were soothing to the nerves. The ride was smooth and comfortable, and we never felt uneasy.

Our helicopter tour with Blue Hawaiian was pure magic. Seeing Kauai’s waterfalls, canyons, and coastline from above felt like stepping into a dream. Our pilot had such an easygoing, friendly style — knowledgeable, funny, and always making sure we were comfortable. We felt safe the whole time and could just sit back, relax, and take in the stunning island views. This was the highlight of our trip to Hawaii — an experience with real aloha spirit. Highly recommend!

What an amazing way to see Maui!

The helicopter flight was wonderful. We saw waterfalls and we were introduced to the beautiful landscape of Hawaii. Our pilot was very friendly and gave us a lot of information about Maui and Molokai. She was also able to answer any of our questions about the individual islands. We would do it again anytime. It was a great experience.

Fantastic experience, great friendly pilot, Neals. Very informative about the island and allowed everyone a view of specific locations. Experienced staff at terminal, especially safety review. Would recommend the 1-hour trip.
