awesome!

Great Tour! Our pilot, Esther, made it safe, interesting, and fun for us! We saw flowing lava, exploding fissures, and beautiful waterfalls. Very much recommend!

Hugo was a great tour guide

Hugo gave us a great tour of the active lava area. Great views of the bubbling lava and the entire rift area! All the staff were very personable and knowledgeable, and we enjoyed the helicopter ride very much!

Amazing experience. Shay was cool calm and collected and a great pilot. He was knowledgeable and showed us the absolute beauty of the Garden Isle. Mahalo for a great adventure!!

When we booked our trip in January, we had no clue Mother Nature would be putting on a show. We really lucked out because the weather was beautiful. It rains a lot in Hilo but we got a sunny day. Our party was 6 people so we had the ecostar all to ourselves. We could see fissure 8 spewing lava in the distance and the lava making tons of steam in the ocean. Definitely look at the before and after pics of how the land has changed over the past several weeks. Our pilot took us as far in as he could go (there is a restricted air space for safety reasons). Make sure to wear dark clothing but you still sometimes get a glare on the pics. I would definitely buy their video of your ride! You have to check your bags (you can't bring anything on the helicopter other than your camera. no iPads, etc. you can bring cell phones in airplane mode).

Truly superb experience. Above the professionalism, knowledge, and smooth piloting skills, Brody's passion, love for the land, and his moving commentary made it an absolutely awesome experience. Thanks for making our 40th anniversary so memorable. Mahalo.

Awesome experience, a must do!

Brodi was fantastic. He was so knowledgeable and I loved hearing about ancient Hawaiian history! The ancient warriors were fascinating and the views he showed us were AMAZING! Thank you for making this trip very special for us! Jason & Jill
