The ground crew at Blue Hawaiian are not at all friendly. In fact we were treated rather like primary school students being herded around. Little respect is shown. I get that working with the public can be a bit trying at times but hey, no-one forced them to take the job. However, once in the helicopter it was great! The pilot was friendly, informative and interesting. He was very happy to answer any questions from the guests. With the recent increase in volcanic activity, the helicopters have to fly as lot higher than they normally would for safety reasons however our pilot made several sweeps over the area of lava flow to ensure that everyone on board got a great view of the area. This really was a wonderful flight and well worth the money. I would recommend paying the bit extra and booking the more expensive helicopter as the views for all passengers is much better.

If you’re able to splurge on one excursion in Kauai I would highly recommend the Blue Hawaiian helicopter tour with Brodi. I’ve been a lucky person who has been able to do some spectacular things and this is now right up at the top of best things I’ve done. We chose an early afternoon flight (2:30 pm) hoping that any morning clouds would burn off..it worked. In my party of 6, there were some nervous first time passengers and they are all extremely glad they went. Brodi did an excellent job conveying his love for the island. This is the only way to see big parts of the island especially after the mud slides from a couple of weeks ago.

My most favorite of all our excursions! Very professional and clean. Pilot was super informative and made us feel very comfortable. Flew over volcanos and waterfalls and things people on dream to see in a lifetime. Thank you. Will definitely steely use them again!

Scott did a wonderful job and provided some snazzy tunes along the way. He provided good information and a smooth ride with no bumps.

You really get to see the whole island. Most of all it's AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Scotty was an amazing pilot and made our experience very enjoyable. The ride was filled with unforgettable views. Flying super close to the waterfalls was fantastic:-)Thanks for the great tour!
