Finally took to the air after cancellation earlier in the week but definitely worth the early morning (0500) wake up! Pilot Devin flew us over the Big Island providing us with amazing views of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa volcanoes and the surrounding country. The difference between east & west coast is remarkable. Flying over the active lava flows and seeing the devastation caused by the recent eruptions ? was tinged with sadness thinking about those who have suffered during this activity. Flew up the coast to the Waipi’o Valley along some of the most beautifully stunning coastline you could hope to see, then flying up the valley and losing count of the number of waterfalls topped off an amazing morning, so glad we were able to enjoy this magnificent experience with some wonderful friends. If you are planning to visit the Big Island anytime, this is a must. A BIG Hawaiian MAHALO to all the staff and crew at Blue Hawaiian for an unforgettable experience.

Great ride. A lot of falls and interesting to spot to see. Tim was also very knowledgeable about the different species and the history of the islands, which made it a very entertainment experience.

This was a wonderful experience! And, the views were magnificent. Our pilot was very knowledgable of the area and pointed out places for picture taking. I would definitely do this again!!

Esther was great! She had a cool music playlist. Great pilot! We enjoyed our experience. Thumbs up!

Awesome time with Blue Hawaiian Helicopters!!! Too bad we didn't see any lava flowing but saw a lot of steam vents especially fissure 8. I highly recommend Blue Hawaiian Helicopters for your next helicopter tour. It's worth every penny.

Great experience. Karl was an excellent pilot and answered all the questions that were thrown at him. The flight was so smooth, our 3 year old slept very well throughout!!! If you visit the island, this is a must do.
