My wife and I did a helicopter tour of Kauai and loved it! The orientation session and registration process were very professional and inspired confidence. Our pilot, Greg, was a wealth of information and an extremely experienced pilot. We were fortunate to have very clear weather (it seems the mornings were always clearer than afternoons when we were there in early July) and saw all over Kauai up close and personal. It's not an inexpensive activity but is fairly priced vs, other helicopter tours - both in HI and other places we've been. Highly recommend a helicopter tour of Kauai and highly recommend Blue Hawaiian!

We booked the Big Isle Spectacular (2 hours) with landing tour. It was EVERYTHING we had hoped for, and more! Truly incredible! This was our first activity planned after arriving on the Big Island, and it was great way to start our trip out and to see the Big Island. Merlinda was our pilot, and did a fantastic job! Also, when we mentioned we flew with Blue Hawaiian to other tour guides/operators that we met later in our trip, they all told us Blue Hawaiian is the best, safest, and most professional helicopter tour operators on the island. And to me, hearing that from other tour guides/companies on the island speaks volumes! Without question, this was the most exciting, best part of our trip! We can’t recommend Blue Hawaiian enough.

The tour was a lot of fun and we got to see so much of the island that we wouldn't have otherwise!

I had been in helicopters many times before but wanted to surprise my friends with a special afternoon above Oahu. I picked Blue Hawaiian because of the type of helicopters they use.  They use Airbus Eco-Star helicopters which are just about the best you can buy and the safest to fly. Just to give you a ballpark figure, their helicopters cost $3+ million a piece compared to other companies who use Robinson helicopters at $300K a piece. Safety was my main reason for picking Blue Hawaiian. They are also a lot more comfortable! Our pilot Loren was fantastic. He is a former military helicopter pilot with years of experience flying. He was quite knowledgeable during our tour and pointed out things of interest. He also maneuvers the helicopter so everyone has a chance to see everything. There really isn't a bad seat in the helicopter. In case you are wondering, you don't get to pick your seat. Every passenger is weighed and their computer assigns seats based on weight. This is for safety! Another reason why Blue Hawaiian has such a great reputation. The office staff and ground crew go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and ready for your flight. Everyone is so friendly. You can even sit back and enjoy the ride without worrying about getting that perfect photo. Your entire trip is video taped both inside and outside the helicopter. Transportation is provided with pickup and drop off at your hotel. Thinking about a helicopter ride? I highly recommend Blue Hawaiian. They are well worth the extra money. Don't forget to tip your amazing and very experienced pilot! Enjoy!

This was the best experience of our two weeks in Hawaii. I was a little apprehensive at first as a nervous flyer but this company (which is always the top-rated in every list you look at for safety, experience, customer service, etc. despite not being the most expensive) does such an outstanding job of making the experience as simple and smooth as possible. Our pilot, Bryan, was probably the nicest person we met on our entire honeymoon. He was so genuine, enthusiastic about his job and the island, and knowledgeable. By the end of the hour-long flight we were sad to say bye to him and couldn't thank him enough. You cannot go to Hawaii, but especially not Kauai, without doing this helicopter tour. It's the only way to truly see the island and is worth every penny.

We could not have had a better experience! Everyone was engaged by the entire organization from check-in to departure. We were treated so good.

While helicopter rides aren’t cheap, I would suggest you do this at least once in your life. This company is very professional and helpful! After you check in, there is a short wait. After viewing a short safety video you are equipped with a personal flotation device. The instructions are clear and simple to follow. Safety is number one with them. You can not take a purse our bag with you but you are provided with a locker. You may take your phone and little camera. We enjoyed our flight and purchased the video of our flight. It is on a thumb drive so you can make as many copies as you like. I think the video is @$60.

Had a fabulous time with Ethan today. Wonderful experience with all the folks working here today. Taylor walked us through the safety procedures, boarded us and took care of getting us the DVD of our flight today.. Kathline is super nice and made us feel very welcome upon our return. I highly recommend this tour!
