We recently took a cruise to the Hawaiian Islands and booked an excursion with Blue Hawaiian helicopters during our stop in Kauai. Wow what an excellent tour. The whole flight lasted 45-50 minutes. Before the flight we had a safety briefing which was very comprehensive. They assigned our group to the helicopters based on weight distribution. Our pilot was Beth and she did a woderful job telling us what we were seeing. We specifically picked Kauai for a helicopter tour and we are sure glad we did. We highly recommend doing a tour with Blue Hawaiian.

Jurassic Park from the sky 744025235 Absolutely incredible experience. Seeing Kauai from the sky is a must do. There have been a few accidents but I checked blue’s safety record and felt assured that things would be fine. It was an unreal experience and I saw things I would otherwise never see since Kauai is so hard to get around and see by car.

Had a wonderful time and highly recommend doing this when in Kauai. Got to see parts of the island that we would have missed. So many waterfalls!

We had easy views from all of the windows. The best way the see all of the beaches and waterfalls. They were very safety oriented and we felt safe and secure during the entire flight.

The beauty and awe of this helicopter tour of Kauai transcends words. It literally is a moving experience that brought some people in the helicopter to tears. It is almost indescribable, but if I had to, I would tell you that the combination of the ultimate rain forest, grand canyon of the tropics, massive waterfalls, sheer vertical drops along with the exhileration of an exciting helicopter ride made our vacation perfect. Six of us went and six of us got off that helicopter with something new in our souls that will forever be charished. Thanks to the whole team and especially Greg our pilot for a spectacular experience.

so Much of Kaua’i is protected and can only be accessed by boat or air. This tour was the perfect way to experience the beauty of this island. Our pilot, Mark, was very knowledgeable about gave a great history along with the most breathtaking views. We enjoyed every minute and have the most beautiful memories from this experience.

This was a great tour. Took almost an hour. Pilot Greg was great. Took great care of us and did a great commentary on the geography, geology and different climate zones. He even took us out on the water to see a Wales. Best $200 I have ever spent.

I only had 1 full day on the island of Kauai. As I was pressed for time, I thought the best way to see the island would be by helicopter. I was not disappointed. US $289 very well spent The views of the waterfalls ( Jurassic park) were fantastic. You also fly over the Olokele canyon and the most inspiring Waimea canyon which is described as the “Grand Canyon of the pacific). You fly over the Na Pali coast as well as other areas of significance. Our pilot Barrett is a highly skilled pilot and the commentary is most informative. The ground crew and reception staff are fantastic and all are very proud of their product, and rightly so. They are filled with that Aloha spirit. The flight time is about 50 minutes as advertised. You do need to check in 45 minutes before you scheduled flight. This is to allow for all passengers to be weighed as distributing the weight is very important. There is also a mandatory safety briefing. Points to note: *You may not get to specify where you want to sit, due to weight distribution. But don’t worry, every seat has a great view. *Go to the toilet before you depart, there is no toilet on board * The departure lounge is comfortable and they provide complimentary tea, coffee and water. *General flight is really smooth, but it does get bumpy (very short periods) when you cross over ridges. *Most importantly, sit back, relax and enjoy. Our first helicopter ride. The staff was great, very safe and beautiful views. The pilot was very knowledgeable and friendly. The views were out of this world as we went over the Na Pali Coast, so many waterfalls to see. It was the perfect way to see this fascinating island.

This is a must do and Blue Hawaiian is the best vendor. We did a couple of other helicopter tours on previous trips but this was the best. The choppers are large roomy and very safe. Our pilot was a native Hawaiian that gave us an excellent tour of the entire island with views of the Napali coast you can’t get anywhere else.

Pilot Greg was great as he flew us around, over the island and ( the hi light) into the volcanoes crater. Professional and personal, the 55 minute trip was truly incredible!

I wish I could give a higher rating! Our pilot was Shay and was excellent. My last helicopter tour of Kauai was narrated on tape, but Shay was an amazing tour guide that we were able to ask questions about what we were seeing. Shay ensured that all passengers got good views of the amazing scenery. I highly recommend this adventure, worth ever $$ My only complaint was a passenger in the front seat had light coloured shorts and shirt on and the Blue Hawaii staff didn't ensure he wore a dark jacket. Several pictures weren't as good as they should have been due to the reflection.

I was hesitant to spend the money, but wanted to do something special with my husband and two teens. We had an absolutely beautiful tour. We felt very safe and in good hands with our pilot. The process was easy and very organized. The views were unbelievable and we even had a chance to spot some whales from the air - truly a special time in Kauai! We would definitely do this again if we had the opportunity.

Dave was our pilot a 22 year army veteran helicopter pilot He did an awesome job of narrating, great music the flight was super smooth no worries. We went in the afternoon which I thought was best to see the napali coast with the sun angle
