Pilot Greg was great as he flew us around, over the island and ( the hi light) into the volcanoes crater. Professional and personal, the 55 minute trip was truly incredible!

I wish I could give a higher rating! Our pilot was Shay and was excellent. My last helicopter tour of Kauai was narrated on tape, but Shay was an amazing tour guide that we were able to ask questions about what we were seeing. Shay ensured that all passengers got good views of the amazing scenery. I highly recommend this adventure, worth ever $$ My only complaint was a passenger in the front seat had light coloured shorts and shirt on and the Blue Hawaii staff didn't ensure he wore a dark jacket. Several pictures weren't as good as they should have been due to the reflection.

I was hesitant to spend the money, but wanted to do something special with my husband and two teens. We had an absolutely beautiful tour. We felt very safe and in good hands with our pilot. The process was easy and very organized. The views were unbelievable and we even had a chance to spot some whales from the air - truly a special time in Kauai! We would definitely do this again if we had the opportunity.

Dave was our pilot a 22 year army veteran helicopter pilot He did an awesome job of narrating, great music the flight was super smooth no worries. We went in the afternoon which I thought was best to see the napali coast with the sun angle

Capt. Dave was our pilot. He was very professional as a pilot as well as narration of our flight over Kauii. I’m a licensed SEL pilot but had no time in a chopper. Dave kept everyone calm and smiling during our flight. I highly recommend this trip!!

Touring Kauai on a Blue Hawaii Helicopter was absolutely tremendous. Our pilot Tim was very good and made us feel safe even over the bumpy parts. It was raining off and on but I think that it made things even more spectacular. We purchased the video and it was well worth the price. Here's the very disappointing part. There were several helicopter tours due to leave about the same time. They have to weigh everyone in order to place them in the right seat to balance the passenger load. We didn't have a problem but after watching the safety video they announced the seating for each helicopter. One married couple was told that they had to be on separate helicopter to accommodate that balance. Of course that upset the couple and the Blue Hawaiian tour employee rudely acted like "too bad but that's the way it is". I don't know what they eventually did but I wouldn't have continued without enjoying the tour with my wife.

The pilot and staff are amazing. They treated me like Royalty!! The views were spectacular. From the numerous waterfalls to the canyon. I will definitely give two thumbs up and a shocka!!!

Must do if you are visiting Kauai . Stunning beauty of Kauai can only be seen by air and can’t think of any better tour than Blue Hawaii . Very well organized trip & highly professional pilots . 50 min flight was breathtaking and highlight of our Hawaii trip , views of Napoli coastline and Waimea Canyon are so unique can’t be described , you have to see to believe it .

The Blue Hawaiian Helicopter tour is THE way to see the island of Kauai. The views are spectacular and the narrative by the pilot is very informative. The tour covers places that are inaccessible by car. Unless you are Indiana Jones, many of the waterfalls, canyons, volcanoes, and shorelines will not be found. The flight is very smooth. Every safety precaution is taken.

We had planned to do our tour on Monday, but rain was forecasted. Tour company called us to see if we could change to Sunday. Well, of course we can! And we are so glad. It was an awesome flight with one other couple. We had the best pilot, Shay, to tell us all about what we were seeing and even suggestions on what else to see and do while we are here. Thanks for a great experience we will remember for years to come.

We were a group of four adults and booked this excursion on our own. I had researched several companies and honestly I don't know why we chose this one. Booking was easily done over the phone. A credit card secured the trip but wasn't charged to us until we arrived. They recommend wearing dark clothing to cut down on reflection. We were on the Pride of America cruise and picked up at the port on time. A short ride took us to the heliport where we checked in and received thorough instructions. The seating arrangement (6 guests and pilot) is made by the company. My husband and I had front row seats which provided a totally unobstructed view. We saw everything that was in their description with a narrative from the pilot. Through headsets you could ask questions. She turned the helicopter so that it didn't matter what side you were sitting on, you had a chance to see. Upon return we had 30 minutes to shop and purchase the inflight video. We took just a few pictures while inflight knowing we would be buying the video ($60). The flash drive is not locked so we made a copy and each couple was then able to have the video. We were returned to the port (they can't take you anywhere else). I believe this was my highlight of our trip.

We chose Blue Hawaiian because we could both sit in the front, for an extra fee. Pilot Craig was affable, describing the route, the scenery, and some history as we flew. Some of his facts were questionable, but he was entertaining and a skilled pilot. It was nice that we did this tour on our first full day on Kauai. It helped us visualize where we were on subsequent days. Two things to note: 1. Wear dark clothing, so you don’t get a reflection in the cockpit bubble that ruins photos. We were told this in advance, but I didn’t have dark shoes. I needed to keep my shoes tucked back, away from the Plexiglas window. 2. You will NOT get to choose which seat you sit it. That is determined by the weight of the passengers. You will be weighed in, and told where to sit. If there are two of you paying extra for the front two passenger (“copilot”) seats, you do get to choose, unless you are of similar weight and make that request.

Great support by the ground team when we arrived. The briefing was clear and not too long. The helicopter experience has been amazing thanks to our professional pilot.

Since I've never been on a helicopter before I was quite nervous, but our pilot Kris put everybody at ease. This was mine and my husband's favourite excursion in Hawaii, and we even got to sit up front with Kris the pilot. He did an excellent job not only with keeping us entertained but also did a good job in explaining where we were and what was going on. My husband and I even bought the usb stick to view later on so we can relive the memories, we loved every minute of it! Thanks again to our pilot, Kris.

Ein Erlebnis, dass man sein Leben nicht vergessen wird. Jede Minute des Fluges hat sich ausgezahlt. Immer wenn man dachte, das ist jetzt das beste und schönste, was man gesehen hat, kam eine noch beeindruckendere Landschaft und die Augen wurden noch größer. Unbedingt das Video vom Flug kaufen und zu Hause immer und immer wieder ansehen.
