We had a wonderful helicopter ride. This is well worth the price. Our family of 5 saw amazing views of this amazing island! Just beautiful!
We did the big adventure with Blue Hawaiian helicopter where we landed near a waterfall and it was beautiful and fantastic. Other then the incorrect address location to meet up, the ride was smooth, great scenery, great pilot with Matt and the information about Hawaii was superb
Biggest highlight of the trip!!! The view was absolutely stunning! Strongly recommend! Our pilot was super friendly and informational, with outstanding skills. He made the flight very smooth. We chose the door off option and it wasn’t scary at all.
An all around great experience. We had a great flight with Mat and enjoyed every minute of.our adventure. Well organized, professional company. Felt safe the entire time.
Great experience! We were able to see small amounts of orange lava in the caldera. The pilot Edmond and staff were great, and even though we didn't see huge amounts of lava, it was a great experience.
I loved the helicopter experience! It gave me a great perspective of the island and I learned some history. The sights were extraordinary, and it was great to see parts of the island I would not have gotten to see otherwise. I recommend doing this on the first or second day of your trip, because it will give you ideas for places you would like to go during your stay on Kauai.
We were very excited to see an actually volcano with lava. Heard that many that ventured by car could only see steam. The canyons that are not accessible by car or foot were also amazing. learned about the climates and cultures as well. paid more to go from waikoloa but the saved 3 hours.
The helicopter tour was unbelievable; Wes, our pilot and tour guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and courteous. He told us about many volcanic events he had the chance to witness while working; he was not boastful, but just thrilled to inform us of the volcanic activity he had witnessed. He was also great at making sure that everyone from all vantages without the helicopter got to see everything as equitably as possible. He was also great at getting everyone in the helicopter to participate, even if they were more shy. The views of the volcano and past activity were great; the waterfalls along the north coast were unbelievable, and again, Wes was great at providing incredible vantage points. I would strongly recommend this tour even though it is pricey. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity.
Pilot Keith an absolute legend. Most of The Flight I was speechless at how breathtaking The Island of Kauai is. Cannot recommend this excursion highly enough.
I can only say how great everything was booking the tour with the company. The driver was very friendly he explained a lot about the island and build stories about movies , famous people. The views can mot be justified by the photos, it was even more beautiful and i am glad the weather was good in the morning so that we can experience this . This was one of the best experiences ever and i loved every second of it!
My wife and I flew the Maui Spectacular January 2022. Mike was our pilot. I highly recommend this tour. It was wonderful to see the entire island! Mike is very knowledgable with the island and we enjoyed every minute of the tour. We were also able to see the whales migrate and their calves. I just booked another tour for October with my family. We look forward to having you as our pilot again Mike!
This was really amazing and our Pilot Matt was wonderful. We took the waterfall landing option and was highlight of trip!
I went with 5 friends and we had a great time. We were able to see well from all of our seats (2 in front, 3 in back including 2 center seats). I would highly recommend this. It started raining during our flight and it didn't even phase our pilot.
This was my second helicopter tour with Blue Hawaiian- I completely trust the company and the pilots and staff were great- all 5 stars there. I am giving this one a 4 because to be honest it is a little boring (compared to the one we took in Kauai in 2010). We had an 8 AM flight and it was cloudy, so there was concern that we would not be able to take off. They made the decision right around 7:45 AM that it had cleared up enough to fly. I am not sure if it was because of the weather, there were a lot of clouds, but we didn't see much. We did not fly over the coast. We flew over volcanic rock. We went to 2 craters and could see some smoke- but no glowing lava. I had been in the park the night before and saw it glowing- but there was nothing to see in the morning via helicopter. The flight back was quick- not much to point out. If they could throw in a waterfall or flying over the coast- it might make this tour a little more enjoyable. I felt like seeing VNP on foot was a much better experience then the helicopter ride over it and my teenage daughter was not really impressed. Pilot was great. Rudy and Jules were awesome. Helicopters are not old and offer a very smooth ride. I would fly Blue Hawaiian again, but just not this particular tour.
Everyone from the flight crew to the pilot were fantastic. All did their best to make sure our trip was both fun and memorable!
