Our helicopter tour was wonderful. Our pilot, Matt, gave us a fun, informative, and a great experience. The Airbus EC130 “Eco-Star” was immaculately clean inside and out. The aircraft appeared to be maintained very well. The aircraft, saftey briefing was efficient and informative. Our flight was first thing in the morning on a beautiful clear day. We flew over centuries old lava flows as well as flows just a few weeks old. We flew over the Kilouea caldera (crater) and saw the sulfur vapors escaping. We flew over Hilo and the lush landscape full of farms and rivers with waterfalls. The flight down Kohala coast with the remote narrow valleys and steep mountains was spectacular. It was such a clear day we actually were able to flew back through the valleys and close to the waterfalls. It left us speechless. The staff and pilot were all very friendly and helpful wile keeping a keen eye on safety. The helicopter has cameras inside and out, and the audio of the pilot and passengers is recorded onto a video. We bought the video of the tour as a special keepsake of our trip, and Blue Hawaiian tours gave us a small gift (a photo frame) as a thank you for writing this review.

Awesome experience with Blue Hawaiian Helicopter Tours. We were in excellent hands with our pilot Toshi and tour guide, who shared his love of the Hawaiian islands with us. All staff were professional and highlighted safety.
