THE MOST MAJESTIC EXPERIENCE!!! This was my first time being in a helicopter and it was an experience like no other. Our pilot Edmund was awesome! He was a very friendly guy, great conversationalist with his knowledge of the island, made us feel safe, and gave us the smoothest flight. When I first started planning our trip to the Big Island, I figured why not experience a first time helicopter flight in Hawaii. Not gonna lie, the prices had me hesitant but looking back it was worth every penny. We booked the Kohala Coast Adventure with the waterfall landing and TRUST ME - do yourself a favor and spend that extra money for the landing. It is a one of a kind experience to be able land at this waterfall since there is no other way to access it other than flying to it. You get to spend about 30 minutes there. There are a couple of benches where you can sit and enjoy the waterfall or the ocean view from a private lookout. After visiting the falls, we flew over Waipi'o Valley. It was absolutely stunning and there are so many more waterfalls that you would have never even known existed. While you're enjoying your ride, there was also some ambient music that is plaything in the background which brought the experience together in my opinion. It really adds a nice vibe; so much that I almost cried when we landed at the waterfall because it was such an incredibly beautiful experience. While I can continue raving on and on about how great this company is, I find that there are a couple of things that everyone should be aware of. The first is that if one of the passengers in your party is over 240 lbs, there is an additional charge called the "comfort seat" which is half the price of a normal seat. Not ideal when you're already shelling out $2k but it is understandable since you're taking up what could have been another individual's seat for the tour... but still. The last thing is USB purchase. First off... yes absolutely buy that USB, I think it's a great souvenir to have but if you only have a MacBook at home, FYI the files are not compatible. Fortunately, I have a PC as well but the videos from the flight were .AVI files which is not compatible with apple. That being said, I had to convert the videos to .MOV/.MP4 files in order to see them on my MacBook since I use that computer more. Other than these two things, I have no other complaints. Aside from the pilots, the staff was so great! While we were waiting for our party to arrive before our safety briefing, they were chatting with us, giving us some island tips, and were just enjoyable to talk to. I am still in awe of this experience and it was one of the most memorable experiences and gifts that I could have given and done with my parents. Thank you Blue Hawaiian and hopefully see you again for a different tour!

Duke was our amazing pilot who showed us around this beautiful island and was super knowledgeable of all the valleys and waterfalls! I’d recommend Blue Hawaiian to anyone wanting a Birds Eye view of the garden isle!!

Chris was a great Pilot. This was our very first helicopter ride. We have lived on Maui our entire life. Born and raised and this was the best birthday gift I could've asked for. There is so many beauty on the island of Maui but no better way to see it then from a helicopter. MAHALO NUI 💙 Blue Hawaiian!
