Took my boyfriend on the big island helicopter with landing per the recommendation of a friend. It was awesome!!! Cameron was our pilot. He was super nice, very knowledgeable, amazing at taking pictures for us… it was great! The waterfall landing was so special! Highly recommend it!

Amazing experience! We were able to see the craters and vents from the air and the fields stretched for miles! Tim was an excellent pilot for us, and incredibly informative. Felt very safe and stable the entire time too!

In addition to appreciating the expansive natural scenery, I did not realize time was passing by the captain's detailed explanation. I had a lot of fun because you were considerate enough to take pictures ^^

This is going to be the highlight of your trip here in Kauai if you decide to do it. There are views you won't get anywhere else and is once in a lifetime experience. The views from the air are spectacular and you get to see the island in its full splendour, including the Jurassic Park scenes. Greg the pilot was awesome, informative and very engaged with each person...he's also a smooth flyer, so I never thought I would even get close to getting motion sickness. There's also background music on your headsets playing...Greg's music selection is an amazing blend of Enya, Hawaiian folk and other atmospheric music to enhance the experience...it wouldn't have been the same without it! Some additional things to note: *If you get in early, you can pay extra to get a front seat (there are two) or try your luck if no one takes it up...there are 4 at the back and two of them are window seats, but in any case if you're travelling as a pair, one of you will at least be next to the window; *bring a Go Pro if you have one, there will be some reflection off the glass but otherwise, it's fine to use a normal phone; *seats are ample, so it should be fairly comfy for most people
