Fortunately, the volcano was erupting when we arrived, so we were able to see it. I'll do it again next time!

Ethan took us on a wonderful flight over the Big Island. The highlight of course was the erupting volcano, and Ethan did a great job making sure both sides of the helicopter had ample time to see everything!

Wonderful experience!

The Blue Hawaiian Helicopter was absolutely SPECTACULAR!!! The entire process was incredibly professional and beyond enjoyable. It is a "Must Do" adventure while in Hilo!!!

Ethan was a fantastic tour guide, and as a pilot myself, I felt completely safe and confident in his airmanship. Seeing the island and the volcano from this vantage point was indescribably beautiful! I’ve had the opportunity to enjoy many places and activities throughout my life, and this one truly tops the list of most exhilarating and memorable experiences I’ve ever had.

I sat next to the daughter with her parents. Both parents were sick during the tour. It's too bad they don't sell the wrist bands for motion sickness. The sites were incredible to see from above. I was touring the Napali coast by boat earlier in the week. Seeing the Napali coast by air just completes the view of the island. It is unfortunate that Blue Hawaii refuses to take cash to purchase the video but expects you to tip in cash for the pilot. Credit cards charge 4%, you would think a smart business person would want to increase their profits for customers who want to pay cash instead of turning them away with finality.

Derek was the best pilot and has an amazing love for the land and knowledge of the history. My wife and I highly recommend Blue Hawaiian Helicopters!

Amazing experience . The staff are so friendly and arrange everything very smooth . The pilot is funny and introduce every details about the landscape when flying. Worthy to get on onboard !

Awesome experience! We were scheduled to fly on Monday but weather impacted the views. The crew recommended moving our flight to the next day. It was the perfect call!! Definitely worth the wait! The whole team at Blue Hawaiian were fantastic. Would recommend the experience-10/10 for sure!!

Had a wonderful experience. First day we were scheduled weather was an issue. We were here on vacation when the Volcano erupted and we really wanted to see the event from the air. The crew was very upfront about how the weather was going to affect the flight we were scheduled on and were helpful getting us rescheduled on a flight the next day. They were very helpful answering our questions even thought you can never predict brother nature.

All I have to say is DO IT! Once in a lifetime experience and so professionally run! Thanks Blue Hawaiian! 🌺

An awesome operation with great crew! Ethan our pilot made it relaxed and informative. He got us close to the action and made sure everyone got great views. Definitely do this!
